With her legs still kicking and curling, Akashi suddenly felt a strong light pierce into the whites of her eyes and noted she could no longer advance her body upwards, as she had been doing for an extended time. With her pupils still rolled back, Akashi's vision was lost, but with the new warmth and breeze touching her cheeks she realized she was ABOVE WATER. As she waded in the pristine water, she even heard the tiny splashes that were touching her earlobes. But needless to say, her lungs were still full of liquid well up to her throat. And with her thinking badly impaired due to the enormous breath hold, Akashi was unsure of what she would do next. Breathe? Was that even a thing? As her beautifully fit body and long limbs lost their momentum and started to descend back down, tears appeared in her eyes. And her engineer mind coldly forecasted her oncoming death. But the girl's tears were not because of the fear and the pain, but for the longing for the soft breeze against her lips and the ripple sounds against her ears that would now be lost forever into the darkness.
