Children Of The New Era - A Short Story

I'm going to open a second Patreon in the future.

Why? Because this Patreon started and focuses on the creation of videogames, so that's what I will keep having you fund on here. For my other endeavors which focus more on writing, I think it's fair to you to not have them share funding.

Writing what, you may ask? Well, like many people in the world, I have a few projects. Some that I actually managed to finish like this short story, Children of the New Era.

Completed in the year 2012, this was the time when everyone and their mother was trying to put their books on Amazon Kindle, in an already saturated market that wasn't exactly friendly to new-comers.

Also, everyone loved trilogies, and I had in mind something even bigger: an entire scifi saga in a completely original world, which this book constituted an introduction to: the world of S-Class.

To describe it in a tag-line that publishers would like, think 'V for Vendetta meets X-Men'. It's a profoundly changed future of our own world, where following a world-wide disaster most of the population has developed super-powers. Which may sound cool but...

Let's just say that compared to say, My Hero Academia, I get into more detail as to how that transition happened and the consequences of it. This short story is an introduction to the main themes and event of that world, in a faux non-fiction format. This is a book about a book, in the vein of World War Z, and just like that explores this new world on many levels.

Not much further to say, other that this also includes the Prologue to what was to be the first book in the saga. What happened to it? Well, I finished it but never published it. Now, who knows...

For the time being, I hope you enjoy this taste of what I have to offer beyond the world of videogames -which I love but hey, I have many talents :P-.
