Well I can only find of one possible hiding area where she could have put that plate. If that is what you’re referring too? ;)

The limiter was meant as caution on the Navy veteran’s part. Where is the plate, anyway? Is it still jostling around inside Chihaya’s suit? There’s really only one area that isn’t skintight enough to hide it…

Then again, later, once the girls disappeared from the sonar, she was more exasperated than worried, which suggests she had an idea of what they would end up doing. The navy veteran didn’t really become concerned until the competitors hadn’t reappeared for several minutes of dive time.

I don’t believe for a second that Aya has accomplished something underwater that Saki isn’t capable of, though I’ll admit the Shrine Maiden doesn’t have nearly as expansive a résumé when it comes to revitalizing herself (she simply holds her breath as long as it takes, normally). As this can’t be a blackout (see: her head is still above water; she MUST still be kicking), technically Saki just won the competition! Now I’d get Tomokazu in the water and help the girls back to the boat!
