Valentine's Day Special Confirmed! IT'S TIME FOR A BRACKET WAR!

Well... Despite some people's best efforts, we did it! Patreon charged more than 1000$ at the beginning of March! Which means that the first JPDE Special is going to happen!

Now, I should probably clarify once and for all what that means and how are Patrons going to be involved into its creation. I'd compare the JPDE Specials to an Anime OVAs, aka a self-contained story that can be considered canon or not, centered around a short-lived storyline and a brand new character. Think of the Dragon Ball Movies.

I'm going to decide most of what will go into each special, of course, but Patrons are going to influence a few things like which characters the story will focus on and the brand new character to introduce which, unlike the main game, can be any RWBY character, with an appearance or not, from any volume.

You read that right, and that's going to be the first poll we're gonna vote on after filling it with names. To make it more fun, we're gonna make it a full blown BRACKET WAR with ONE CHARACTER nominated by EACH PATRON OF ANY LEVEL.

You. Read. That. Right. Every single Patron is going to nominate a character. Here are the rules.

1) I will PM each and every Patron in descending order from the highest tiers to the lowest tiers. You can only nominate via PM. Each tier will only have two days to answer the PMs before I send more messages.

2) If you nominate someone that's been already nominated by another Patron, you won't know that. Your nomination will transform into a voting bonus for that character's first bracket.

3) The character can be any RWBY character from any volume that's not already been introduced in the JPDE main game. It can also be someone who's just been referenced but has never made an appearance, like Willow Schnee or one of Jaune's sisters.

4) All brackets will play out here on my Patreon account. All Patrons can vote.

5) Remember that the winner of this Bracket War will be a character that will become central to the Special's Storyline.

And considering that this particular special is based around Valentine's Day... Well, you can guess.
