The comical tragedy of this Creature is his longing for companionship always entails discommunication and rejection because he expects his hosts to be, well, underwater with him. And given the abundance of young/fit/beautiful female characters in this series, we can only expect reemergence of gems so long as the producers decide to give him a cue ;-)

2022-10-27 09:17:54 +0000 UTCThat episode is number 34 of the original run. And this run is going to have 48 episodes from what I have heard so far. So let hope that all the underwater episodes get made in this reboot. Seeing how amazing it would be to see those scenes again in HD ^^

There’s a surprising amount of decent swimsuit designs across the series (not to mention an entire short movie with the Obstacle Course Swim Meet), but I always came back to that episode. It has it all: freediving, deep pool, long breathholds, TALKING UNDERWATER, and some good looking bathing suits! Hopefully Crunchyroll picks up the series too!
