This has been happening for the past few days. And for the last release. And countless times since Renpy switched to Gradle for Android packaging.
It seems to be basically their way of saying: 8 Gigs of ram is TOO LITTLE, BITCH!
Coincidentally I'm getting a new laptop soon so that'll fix it. In the meanwhile, Android users: you can fix this by doing with the whole game what you do for the lewds.
Step 1) Download the latest Android version of JPDE, 2.17
Step 2) Download the Zip of the PC version.
Step 3) Replace the entire GAME FOLDER
Now... Mac users. If you follow the news about Os updates you know this already. For everyone else: from now on Mac machines will need everything running on it to be 64bit and notarized.
Soooo... Yeah. Mac is also in peril because notarizing without Apple's 99$ a year subscription is almost impossible, and it still requires a Mac machine. Which I lack.
