As I was continuing, I hope Chihaya stays in practice, in the pool or otherwise, while's she's at school, so she doesn't have to spend time making up for lost practice when she returns, and can pick back up right where she left off. And there's any month long breaks, and there's always next summer! (Although they'll be 17 and 14 by then; kind of different than 16 and 13, really. I really, really hope they don't do much in the way of growing up, particularly Aya, but 13 to 14 is a big jump. She's still a child now, and that, and her mentality, is part of what makes her so lovable.) Hopefully when the characters are picked back up, it won't be any longer in universe time than that. Still feeling kind of sad though.
