Alpha set out to embark on the task of the day - sweeping the doorsteps to her Cafe Alpha on the West Cape. But as she got fascinated by the swirling black kites in the sky and her ad hoc feat to locate the first star, she had wandered about almost a third of the way to Misakiguchi Station (the West Cape is about 2 kilometers due "west" of the Station, where the terrains of Misaki ends at a hard stop with cliffs dropping into Sagami Bay). Alpha was still high spirited, a self-appointed guardian and observer of the twilight in this Age of Twilight. Maybe Kokone will come her way on her moped soon, with the latest parcel and message addressed to her.
