Cobalt Plus: Yoshika and Chihaya

...After a brisk two-and-a-half-minute swim, Aya managed to arrive onshore, the arm of the girl from out in the water draped over her back. The other girl onshore that had signaled Aya to shore ran up to thank her, expressing gratitude and relief that all was fine. After things began to calm down, she introduced herself as Dr. Yoshika Miyafuji and revealed that the girl Aya met was named Hikari. Yoshika had short and slightly ragged brown hair with a blue one-piece swimsuit. Meanwhile, despite being a little tired from her close call out in the bay, Hikari was still excited, animated with the same odd eagerness as before. “Miyafuji, that girl’s your assistant’s cousin, isn’t she? She looks cool!” Yoshika asked if Aya was who Hikari said, Aya answering affirmatively.  Though not entirely clear on what was happening, Aya began piecing things together. Context clues from the conversations Aya and Chihaya had over the year and a half of visits seemed to fit the situation – Chihaya had decided to focus somewhat on physical therapy during her time in college, hence why she was attending State College of Florida to study the discipline and manage an Associate’s degree before transferring to New College of Florida afterward for more standard pre-med which some of her final year in high school helped cover somewhat on top of some electives at SCF. Additionally, Chihaya mentioned working as an intern for a rather young-looking doctor connected to a respected private healthcare practice in town that specialized in sports medicine, physical training and rehabilitation which had access to a couple of pools not too far away from the office – she was even allowed to use the pool for some exercise of her own if the session finished before the scheduled end time, Yoshika occasionally joining in. Recently, one of the patients Chihaya assisted was an ex-military member named Takami, who was trying to carefully shape up after recovering from combat injuries. Chihaya had said how Takami and her sister were close and that the sister was really active and energetic.
