No fire underwater, of course, and even in here no way to get anything that burns hotter than seaweed. What is mermaid "cooking" like, or do they just eat in "as is?" Might be a reason to keep coming back to their dorm! : )

Slightly negatively bouynent resting on something, or simply floating in a comfortable area of water? PS: Nice job savaster on clearly showing age in a species that doesn't actually exist,
