Horizontal distance should be at least twice their target depth, surely? I'm sure they'll be able to better the current "dynamic no fins" record which as I recall is around 196 metres for women, and then build up from there! I wonder what Saki is doing to prepare for their match?

2019-07-01 08:16:50 +0000 UTCUnfortunately for ChihAya, horizontal swimming isn’t the same as vertical diving, or else they would have just tied Saki’s current record, though I have a feeling we’re going to see at least one of the three make it significantly deeper, like 175-200 meters.
