2019-10-18 10:25:22 +0000 UTCI feel that this post brings up a good question: what would happen if Saki were to discover (from Eri, perhaps) that her father wasn’t necessarily dead in the waters around Japan? On one hand, she took up freediving as a way to find him again and disentangle herself from his influence, so if he can’t be found by diving, she might just quit (there’s also the fact she admits she doesn’t like the claustrophobic feeling being deep underwater incites). On the other, however, she’s discovered she is quite good at the sport, has made some friends in Aya and Chihaya (though their relationship is a bit rocky), and is able to have greater clout with her Twitter account. These are all good things, so perhaps she would choose to continue this habit after all.
