The fish felt a burning pain in its eye. What had happened? The feeling of triumph, confident that it had its prey between its jagged teeth - but what is this agonizing sensation? Through its good eye, it caught a glimpse of the cloud of its own blood quickly spreading through the water. And - the prey had flipped its body, showing its smooth back skin, and moving its slow limbs through the flooded cabin. It was running away! The fish was enraged, and reclaiming this feeble but cunning prey became everything, with the fact that it lost an eye now the least of its concerns.
