Book Cover, Update 1

I'm taking a look at how best to reflect the content. In this case, the 4 photos are from Dubai, San Torini, The southern Tip of the Baja and the desert in Oman. I've faded the blacks and white into a magenta/cyan color scheme to add a bit of pateen.. Since this is a reflection on the past.
Playing with the typefaces I've settled on some Modern, some swiss style, and then for variety I've tried out Courrier Prime and Bodani to deviate and see how it looks.
It could go the typewriter route, lean in on the Bukowski influence, or bodani to add that modern sophisticated serif look which gives more weight to the text and less to the picture.
