You remember the first episode of volume 1, no? The stick up in the Dust Shop? These two have come a long way since then... Well, one more than the other but that doesn't matter because in JPDE, we aim to subvert.
And speaking of subversion, those clothes. What the hell happened during the time-skip?! Where is all the cute goth attire of Ruby?! And why is Roman wearing an uniform of some kind?!
All that and more can only be answered in JPDE2... And I can't wait to :3

For Roman I guess he's taking a position of importance cause as much as Roman is a criminal he ain't a heartless scumbag so maybe the Fall of Beacon, Forced him into a position to provide aid and leadership, Kinda how the Yakuza act when tragedy hit their country. As for Ruby I can only hope this is a temporary Sprite she uses when on scouting missions in forests, Oh a cool feature to add to the camo cloak it can change patters based on the environment cause you know Forever Falls and other such places. Really Hope you give her a Mature Gothic Lolita look when this is ready to be released!
