Projects Update - Real Life Is Almost Done

Good day, everyone.

I wanted to apologize for the lack of JPDE related updates in the last weeks, which are just my fault and no one else. Meinos Kaen. Simone. Papa. The guy in the chair.

As you can see from the previews -which are now shared on Discord-, the artists keep on churning out things regularly. The pieces are coming out, your money is being spent the same way it always does: on the assets for making our games.

What's missing is the writing and coding, which are unfortunately only me. It's just been difficult for me to balance a surprisingly hectic period of 'real life' with having to rebuild JPDE2 in another engine while also having to code and produce stuff for JPDE and GalaxiA -that's one of the main reasons other side projects have been axed-. It was also the main reason why I had been looking for a co-writer for JPDE Sonata of Fire, and why now I'm trying to secure a co-coder for JPDE2.

Thankfully, work has calmed down. I'm also getting a new colleague on Monday -been flying solo for the last couple months-. So from next week I will finally have time to actually sit down and do things.

A thousand apologies as, without you, nothing of this would be possible. Until I actually turn Team JPDE into a real legal entity and start securing alternative sources of income, you are the only thing keeping the lights on.

Here's to a better second half of 2023.
