Honestly, maybe Jeff Davis sees himself in Scott and doesn't like that people dont like Scott bc otherwise why would he write his character like that? And why are you afraid of people liking Stiles? Julie Plec did something similar with Damon in season 2 ep 1 of Vampire diaries were she basically wanted to "bring him down a notch" bc the fans favored his character. Art should be made to be consumed artists should know you can't control how consumers react to what you've made and trying to sway them just tampers down the product in my opinion. Also yes we loved Stiles dad just so hard to see him sad. And we want to see Derek continue on this path he's literally becoming a fav so quick

He really had an issue for some reason with the fans who loved Stiles and Derek more than Scott, and an even bigger problem with Sterek shippers. So he baited the fuck out of bi!Stiles. It's honestly so there without being there that I haven't come across a single fan who thinks Stiles is straight, no matter who they ship him with. Stiles being a Spark (a kind of magic user) could've been such an amazing storyline alongside everything else but that would've made him even cooler, which means he would've REALLY outshined Scott, so it was dropped. Sort of. There are definitely things throughout the series that hint to Stiles having some sort of power. Or "Stiles is definitely something". It's like with his bisexuality. He can't be anything blatantly apparently. The scene when the Sheriff comes home after being fired hurts me everytime. The acting in that scene from both of them was perfect (as if it ever isn't) and the music made it ever sadder. The Stilinskis are honestly my favorite family on the show. Allison pissed me off so much this episode. Setting aside how much of a dick she was to Matt the whole time because she was Scott-focused, she really spilled all the beans. Every last one. She didn't have to tell Chris and Gerard anything, she chose to. Because "people are dying". Which, yeah, no shit, but you're friends with - and are around - a bunch of non-humans who have human-presenting sides, that you fucking go to school with. And then this shit: "What was I supposed to do?" "You were supposed to trust me!" "I do! I trust you more than anyone" BITCH WHERE?? WHERE IS THE TRUST?? She should've trusted that the supernatural can handle the supernatural Jsyk "Slut Wolf" took me the fuck out omfg that's all I'm gonna be able to think now when I watch that scene The only reason Boyd didn't join Derek in taking out Mrs. Arlington is because he had been shot with a wolfsbane bullet and wasn't healing, that's why Derek told him to take the car and go. He wanted to make sure Boyd was safe (well.. safe from getting more hurt) Derek cares so fucking much about everyone tbh, and for some reason that includes Scott (who doesn't deserve anything Derek does for him). Derek lost his whole family as a teenager, he's just been trying to build a new one and Scott hates him so much for... ??? Existing?? Near him?? So he shoots down every attempt Derek makes to get along and work together (unless Derek does whatever Scott says, then Scott is fine with him. eye. fucking. roll.) Reason #69643984795830 as to why I hate Scott I never noticed that after Scott hands the ketamine over to Isaac he just.. leaves?? Like.. he just goes outside?? And he has his phone out, probably to communicate with Allison, and maybe he's trying to find her?? But why would you expect her to be outside.. if she's supposed to be inside?? What. And yeah, he hands off the job to Isaac which I think is part of why it went sideways. Deaton may be a weird cryptic man but if he says something has to be done by you in particular then that's that. Like with Stiles and the mountain ash. NO ONE else could've done what Stiles did. Derek stans are the best stans (tied with Stiles stans of course) so welcome to the club!
