Comments

yes its weird bc Scott doesn't have a dad either you would think that could be one of his trauma/fears but he clearly isn't even thinking of it so even when they could add depth to his character they didn't! & LOL we also feel that way about Allison like yea ima give you some time to grieve but im not letting go no how you be acting not to much!!!! & JUSTICE for Derek bc them taking his ANCESTRAL power was nothing but a ephymism for rape and taking of peoples cultures if you ask me idc that they related that power is rightfully Dereks! And we are so on the same page fr when it comes to theories lol

OG Squad Reacts

The first time I watched Teen Wolf I didn't connect Deaton and Morrell until that scene in the last episode and it surprised me. It was like an exciting twist but I still had no idea how they were related lol Scott's whole "we don't owe her a party" attitude was so shit, and I know we're supposed to blame it on the full moon but honestly it just fits his character. Same with bringing Stiles into the mix by using the unrequited crush he has on Lydia as a point in his argument, which:: 1. that's rude as fuck and Scott is lucky Stiles can roll with a lot of bullshit, and 2. Lydia not noticing Stiles and not returning his feelings is no excuse to ignore her or intentionally ruin her birthday. That's some Nice GuyTM logic - where Stiles once again proves he's a better person than Scott, because he doesn't hold it against Lydia that she doesn't like him like that. He "loves" her but they're not even really friends and HE isn't being a little bitch about her. I gotta give Allison at least A point for pointing out the obvious to Scott, which then encourages him to get the lacrosse team to show up. Stiles not hesitating to call up his community for help makes me so happy, it's such an underrated moment (the fact that he has contact with that community in the first place!! whether he went to that club once or more than once, he immediately attracted his people and i love that for him) As much as I hate the Arlingtons, I do feel for Chris and Victoria in her final scene. It's the only time you really see emotion from either of them at this point, especially Victoria. She didn't get to say goodbye to her daughter, she's clearly afraid, she doesn't want people to think she was weak but she also didn't want them to think she didn't care about her family. And it's kinda messed up she died in her daughter's room but she just wanted to be with her, which shows a level of love we don't really see from her about anything until that scene. Allison has her self-loathing and Stiles has actual trauma and Scott has... Allison making out with Jackson. As Jackson and as the Kanima. Okay. Sure. I mean that totally checked out for his character but it DOES yet again prove that he shouldn't be the main character, because I do not give a shit about his problems at all. When it comes to Jackson's feelings / troubles with being adopted, I think it's a matter of identity. Because he doesn't know who his parents are, he doesn't even know what they looked like, he doesn't know anything about them, so then who is he?? Who is Jackson?? Is he even Jackson??* The way that after his "parents" turn around and they have no face, Jackson loses his face too makes me feel like that's his biggest issue. Along with how Jackson's current parents waited to tell him he was adopted, maybe finding out fucked with his sense of self. Like having his world flipped. Because his dad said Jackson hadn't said 'i love you' in 11 years but he's 16/17 here so that leaves 4-5 years where he didn't know and maybe did say 'i love you'. *just continued watching and you guessed that too!! i think that automatically makes us right lol In the scene where Allison breaks down at the hospital it does make me a little sad, and I do feel a little bad for her - she didn't choose the family she ended up with and she didn't choose their crazy - but going forward - after this episode - I can't feel bad for her at all. We know the car belongs to Harris because at one point we did see him get in it, and earlier in this episode the Sheriff said that that car belonged to him. Things do get explained but it is definitely the douchebag teacher's car The ghost plot is such a killer idea (no pun intended) I would've loved to have seen even more to do with that side of things. The show is about the supernatural but there's no reason it can't get more paranormal too My biggest issue with the Peter reanimation plot isn't even the Peter or the reanimation. I just want people to stop using Derek, and stop using his body, without his permission and I am SO HAPPY Y'ALL TOUCHED ON THAT. The "rapey" edge with drugging the kids and Derek, and then manipulating Derek's body so Peter can use it to come back, especially when that's definitely not something Derek would've ever agreed on. It's disgusting. There are certain characters that deserve better and Derek is at the top of the list to me (Lydia and Stiles are, of course, right up there too) jldskfjs okay there's my novel for episode 9, really looking forward to the upcoming reactions - as always : )
