Stiles’ monologue at the beginning of this is just >>>>>> You’re so used to him wisecracking, being sarcastic and whatnot. I think his more serious and impassioned moments are underrated.

2025-12-17 19:23:55 +0000 UTCohhh Derek def seems like he's compartmentalizing it would make sense why from the beginning of season 1 we kept telling Derek to SPEAK! he can't bc he already hid those thoughts and moments away. LMFAOOO the Scott Slander is so real. We honestly just do not like that guy..... smh. & yea as far as Stiles he def has plenty reasons to be anxious and overwhelmed. We def would need a break as well Stiles has been WORKING since ep1 to keep everyone safe and I think he needs more real support not fake ass friends like Scott tbh. And realistically as far as Boyd and Erica are concerned idk what they were thinking I think they wanted to be like Scott go off on they own and they paid a price for it. Plus shouldn't they have been suspicious of new wolves out of no where? And for Peter and Derek I guess we will have to see what happens bc so far besides being so creepy when he first came back to life he hasn't done much to be upset about yet. FUCK ALLISON. thats all I gotta say about her lmao. @ LMAO its so real stopping bc its too stressful this ep almost had us to was way too much going on fr! Like we get so invested sounds like you do too its hard for us lmao

2025-06-22 03:43:26 +0000 UTCI think Derek, after everything, has gotta be really good at some level of dissociation or compartmentalizing (if you shoved the box of bad things to the way back and put a faulty padlock on it). It would make sense since a. after realizing that what happened with Peter and Lydia was real he just.. moved past that, way too quickly imo, and b. a lot of his character is like if you took a list of common trauma responses and made it a werewolf. King has gotta get through the days somehow. "In order to make Scott the main character of the episode they literally had to nerf Stiles and nerf Derek. AND honestly nerf Jackson by making him Matt's bitch. And they had to take Lydia completely out. That's the only way Scott was able to be the main character of the episode." "And still he didn't do shit!" FOR REAL THOUGH. They really did everything they could to make Scott the main character and the hero and boy just stood around, talked, and listened. He didn't really do shit until towards the end and Derek was right there with him. I don't think there's anything they could do to make him the main character. They could kick out everybody else and have it be a one man show and he still wouldn't be the main character lmao I don't think Stiles here is necessarily suicidal (though it's not off the table), just overwhelmingly anxious. And considering he was already really anxious its gotta be unbearable now. Hyper-vigilance can keep you safe but it's not a good time. And tbh he's probably somewhat depressed. There's a rift between him and his dad, he and Scott aren't really talking, people are dead or missing. And that's all happened in a matter of like.. a week maybe?? I think I'd just lay down and give up for a couple of days The fact that y'all caught on to it being a werewolf mimicking machine and the actual werewolves didn't though lsdjflks If they'd spent more time listening to Derek and less time fighting him (and if they had given him time to figure out his alphaness) they wouldn't have fallen for something so stupid. I think you're absolutely right about them seeing Derek as the danger, but the actual danger being a werewolf in the first place. Which he warned them about. And idk why they'd think that some werewolf pack they don't know is gonna be safer than the pack they already know... like.. what if the next alpha is worse?? I love Erica and Boyd but they piss me off so much in this episode Deaton did warn Derek about Peter getting into his head, but Deaton - to Derek - is just Some Guy. Peter is his uncle. And even though he's psycho he's still family, which means a lot to Derek. I think that's part of what makes Derek so susceptible to his lies. That and everyone pointing out his failings in a 24 hour period as if he doesn't already hate himself. I think it made Derek more vulnerable. He's alone and just wants someone, anyone, to actually be on his side at this point and Peter is a sneaky fake little bitch I think the thing with Allison is that she DID actually care, earlier in the season, and she didn't actually hate werewolves. But the death of her mom changed that. The whole flip is because Derek "killed" her mom. That's it. She was supposed to take out anyone in Derek's pack and even though Boyd and Erica just left Derek's pack, they were still bitten by him so that apparently makes them targets. It's bullshit. The Arlingtons had a code but yeah Gerard said "actually is it cool if we do genocide?? is that okay?? no?? TOO BAD", then added "oh and humans are open season too now by association <3" and with very little effort got Allison on his side. This episode is what makes it so I can never forgive her. You don't come back from happily nearly killing your classmates. This episode definitely stressed me the fuck out too, and it makes me glad that by s2 I wasn't watching anymore. So when I got back into Teen Wolf years later I could just binge the whole season and not have to wait for answers. Sometimes I miss the 'episode a week' format but episodes like this are not included in that lol
