honestly, YES Derek deserved to snap like he did and even more in our opinion. And this season literally every single Derek interaction is golden and we think that may be why they seem to be limiting his screen time a bit, in order to let Scott and Stiles shine more. Bc Derek is such a well written and captivating character that deserves so much more than he's getting so far in our eyes. And also whose idea was it to invade his home like that? lol & yea we want better for both of the twins but can tell from day one Ethan has always seemed more ready to grow and improve than Aiden, overall we are waiting to see a backstory on them to piece it all together bc we know its got to be a reason why they are like this! & likewise thats why we haven't really been able to buy into anything between Stiles and these girls because its always random and kind of out of place? seems weird to have such a big character but put no effort into giving them any kind of romantic plot

If nobody else gets Derek it I know I can count on y'all to get him. The loft is the longest he has lived anywhere since.. probably since the fire tbh. And bad things keep happening there. Impalement, Boyd's death, a whole bunch of kids invading - doing who knows what, taking who knows what - while all of his shit is set out because Surprise Black-Light Rave was not on his bingo card so he didn't think he had to hide his own shit in his own home. And the others either didn't think about it or didn't care and unfortunately I'm pretty sure I know which one it is. Derek breaking up that rave was so satisfying. He needs to be allowed to lose it a little more I think. As a treat. His interaction with the kids trick-or-treating was so cute though, he really brought both the trick AND the treat. And also probably taught those kids a valuable lesson on stranger danger and approaching people at night that you don't fucking know lmfao I definitely like Ethan a lot more than I like Aiden. They both helped with Boyd's death and that isn't something anyone should just.. brush off, but Ethan at least seems to feel something about what they did and has been putting in the effort to try to be good. Even if its just for Danny that's still something. Aiden wanted to help with the rave so Lydia would hopefully think he was good and he'd get her back. As if one (1) action can undo everything else. As if Lydia Martin, stubborn genius, would change her mind because ~ party ~. Ethan, however, wanted to help with the rave because he knew it would make Danny happy. It wasn't about getting Danny back (even though we all know thats what he wanted). He saw Danny's disappointment and wanted to make him happy. He tells Aiden that what they've been doing means nothing to this pack - these Beacon Hills teens who were either human first or are still human (obvs. not counting Derek as he is not Teen) don't care about power. They care about each other. So its time to learn how to work with their human side. He always came off as less vicious than Aiden but I'd still call his attitude now character growth I LOVE the "do you like boys?" "yes. do you?" "... *stares off into space, thinking*" exchange so much, and Caitlin seems cool but I really need people to stop kissing Stiles without his consent. Like you guys theorized, its entirely possible something was in the paint that made everyone kinda wild, idk, but that doesn't make it okay. Stiles should be kissed by someone who actually knows him, cares about him, likes him beyond using him, and would get permission to kiss him for the first time instead of just assuming because he's a teenage boy its totally fine. I hope Jeff Davis falls down so many staircases in his life lmao

2025-08-18 21:08:09 +0000 UTCyou have to admit thats a WILD thing for a parent to say about their child no? and even if your child is habitually lying to you at what point as a parent do you go... ok how do I make my child feel safe enough to trust me? but I do get for the story purposes Stiles does lie a lot but then again all the kids do we just wanted more from his dad I guess
