The bright white light coming from behind illuminates things well, and it’s shape interestingly mirrors the shape of the tree. In fact, the negative space in this piece is just as visually compelling as is the positive space. Good depth from Claus back through Tammy to the tree, and the hot spillover of light on her right thigh is a great touch. Another winner (and Happy Holidays)!
