In for a Penny, In for Two Weeks of Painting...
Added 2017-08-15 00:33:08 +0000 UTCAll right, thanks to everyone for being so patient while I've been away! I've actually been busy painting this complete set of miniature paintings. They're acrylic on 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" Strathmore illustration board, or trading card size. Tobie and I are working on an all-new andysdames.com, and these paintings will be the new profile illustrations to introduce the girls. The photo isn't very good, but I've posted scans to the archive.
Originally, I was just going to do a single piece with a lot of faces, but felt that it wouldn't really communicate much about their personalities. As such, my "two-day project" turned into two weeks. It's the first time I've ever put all 14 girls in one project, and probably the last time I'll paint at this tiny size- they're way too much work!
If anyone would like to own the complete set of all twelve paintings, I'll sell them for $500 to the first person who types "sold" in the comments below. International shipping included. I'll message you for payment and shipping information.

Then after painting for a while I realized that I could do a lot more with them than I could before, so I was able to drag this out into a much bigger effort than it would've been in the past. Still, I'm glad I did.
