What I dig about this one is the strong reference to the tradition, if you will, of odalisque paintings, where a female slave or harem girl is lying on her side or back on display for the viewer. Indeed, this could easily have been titled "Bondage Odalisque". I think this is one of your stronger painting efforts, both in concept and composition, and simply in how well it is actually painted. And as I implied above, I think it transcends "porn" and truly is a splendid piece of erotic art, both in how well it is executed and how it is conceptually backed up by, well, the history of art. Not only is it a fine piece of erotic art, it is a beautiful piece of fine art.
