Fuck, wrong week.

Since the last car/driving happening things have changed. Something has clicked. I get better treatment at home. She does more around the house. I get better discussion. Instead of the usual complaining and logistics stuff we have actually some discussion. I am also taken more into consideration: I seem to have some value. Going through my previous field report, a recurring theme occurs: stop taking your wife to seriously. Also my last report has shown that I fail to identify fitness test correctly. So to improve here. I decided to go 100% the other direction: 1. Whatever she says: I laugh it off, I make some joke about it, I don't give fuck about it, I try to be funny, etc... 2. Whatever she says, it is a fitness test. So fog, AA or AM. As it is new to me, I am ready to be wrong in order to learn, see the effect and see where it leads. Obviously "don't eat paint". But unless the world is really burning, let's behave this way. I am surprised of the result. I never got some push backs or complaints. To me it seems to work better. I get less complaining. She seems more interested in what I have to say. As to the fitness tests. My behavior is still not perfect though. One evening she says "Can you take care of the kids tomorrow and prepare them for school, I have an appointment early". Thinking it was really a logistic question I replied "Yeah sure...". Then thinking about that, I am not convinced she really had an appointment that early. She never had one that early: that sounds phony. This was a test of some kind to gauge my reaction. Don't tell me now it was a "comfort test". Now doing all this work I start to see how it affects people around me. This gives me better understanding of the RP tools. One positive effect I see is: I get more meaningful interaction with my older son. We get along way better than before. All good...
