I second Severian's comments about the piece having a ritualistic air about it, and I think the super-heavy manacles contribute to that, as well. The Dames don't wear that kind of thing often, but I wouldn't mind seeing them do it a little more frequently. I really like the expression on her face. Inviting yet perhaps with a little bit of a dare in her eyes...
