Millie & Kelli

Comments

Millie does look pretty good in that, doesn't she? Maybe we'll let them each have one sometime.

I know the Chinese dress is Kelli's, but I've gotta say, Millie fills it out very nicely, too! Maybe Kelli will have to borrow one of Millie's Renfaire outfits sometime to return the favor.

It worked out very well! This way, you get to see both Kelli's front and back, with each view telling a slightly different part of the story, and showing each view only partially adds a lot of visual interest. And it's very clear that you're looking at a mirror.

Thanks!

Yeah, I thought I'd try relying on dividing up everything that wasn't the central character as a method of communicating that she's looking in a mirror, rather than relying on stylized glare reflections on the glass. Pretty sure it worked out okay.

Indeed, between Maisey and Millie, Kelli is pretty much SOL. I can only imagine some pretty serious payback is on the horizon!

Very innovative representation of Kelli here, reminiscent of the classic “girl sawn in half” magician’s trick. From the way you have her quite accurately “halved”...if I didn’t know any better...

Beautiful to fix it. 😍

Thanks, Molly! Poor "dominant" Kelli just can't catch a break this month, can she?

Millie with the win! Well done, Andy.

Thanks! I got a little help from the ol' Ipad to speed things up, but I still managed to drag it out for way too long.

Nice job on this! Mirror pics are always more difficult.

Glad you liked it! I'll admit that I may have arranged a few simple objects in a 3D app on my Ipad as reference to speed things along, but who's telling?

I know it couldn't have been easy. I just wish I had tried to buy it first, before taking the time to comment. This is one that I would have loved adding to my collection!

Thank you, Marley! I'll admit that it got a bit more complicated than I'd intended, but I think it worked out eventually.

I must compliment you on a magnificent, technically excellent, and esthetically beautiful piece, Andy. Bravo Zulu, my friend!
