What about that awesome braking mechanism on Blue Origin's New Shepard launcher?? No one's gone into any details about that.

It would appear to be a real time saver, not to mention a more consistent means for producing body sections. Do you have some way of sharing that knowledge with company officials?

2019-12-14 01:52:30 +0000 UTCNASA and Boeing are working on a long term, 10 SLS contract to get the price of "SLS" down from 1.6 Billion to only $800 million. Maybe. Not clear whether SLS in question is just the core or if it includes solid boosters and or upper stage, and as to the latter which upper stage. "SLS" almost certainly does not include Service Module, Orion spacecraft, ground facilities, fuel or amortization of development costs. And SLS will just end up as more junk dumped in the ocean. Then there are the costs associated with the Lunar Gateway and associated hardware, not to mention landing and ascent modules. What do we really know about the cost of one flight to the moon in the Artemis program? And does it make sense to order 10 more SLS boosters?
