I didn't like 4th season of The Dragon Prince :c And I'm glad that many of you agree with me haha. Like, how?? I mean it's always so frustrating and WEIRD, if there are same writers (I haven't checked though), how people who start shows like voltron or this, when it's written so brilliant, then turn the plot into some boring, unlogical mess with empty drama, with poor character understanding etc... UGH
maybe, I dunno, they were told that stop it ffs, too much sexy elf, remake everything you've made and make a season for kids, haha
as one of patrons mentioned - why did Claudia had less chemistry with Terry (who I like a lot) than Viren and Terry lmao
my own BIG question - why Callum and Ezran didn't even bother to ask Reyla about her home? What did she do last years when she was away? Her main theme and drama were about her family and that she can't return to other elves, but so much has change? And whaaat? She still wasn't able to return? You want to say Ethari wouldn't let her in and forgive her? And the rest of them? Because whole point was in dragon death and the egg and revenge etc etc
Soren and lame jokes. Just lame. I love Soren being a naive dork, but that doesn't mean that he is stupid, it's so different...
Aaravos... I didn't even like the scene where he appeared lol, it was so much too straight forward I'M A BAD BAD BAAAD GUY AHAHA YOU WILL LOSE I WILL WIN :))) Lame! AAAARGH It's just so lame for him! He is so sneaky and acts so delicately!
the CREATURE, the fucking creature, the WHOOOLE idea is stupid, the whole point of existing this thing, and why it's even needed is to find clues for Aa's location. BUT it's not even some magic artefacts that creature could magically sense! It's just objects! And if Aaravos knew about them he could just tell about it! How and where and what items are located! It's so stupid тт
Whole part with sunfire elves was pretty ok I think... But I didn't enjoyed it also because all parts of S4 plot was about some located problems and conflicts and not about whole main plot...
I believe I forgot some details that I was salty about but yeah.................
Viren was good, I liked all Viren parts, I loved his interractions with Terry, his is such a sweetie, also I loved part when he told Claudia that she was mean to Reyla and she listened to him TqT

2022-11-23 23:50:55 +0000 UTCAs someone who has read the comics, even if you read them it doesn't excuse the pacing. Like as you say it's not that Rayla couldn't go home ??? In the comic about her relationship with Ethari and Runaan you can see how much they love her so it doesn't make sense Ethari wouldn't welcome her. The explanation was that she was obsessed with finding Viren when she found he wasn't exactly dead. I think they couldn't capture the essence of many characters? I was so mad about Rayla specially! I actually like her a lot, but suddenly she's like all blushy blushy with Callum and not adressing any of the issues TAT whyyyy. And it broke my heart how they always make Soren the joke and the less important friend. He had lots of personal growth!! And as you said I expected more about Aaravos :/. The thing I liked was seeing Viren struggles and him bonding with Terry lmao. I really really hope they make better the next season. I already experienced Voltron, I can't do it again.
