Thrown Back: Chapter 42

Chapter 42

Harry sighed as he watched the last of the cured werewolves being escorted back to the Ministry through the mirror. David and a dozen Aurors on either side of the mirror made sure there weren’t any escape attempts.

“So, what’s going to happen to them now?” Harry asked.

“They’ll be held for trial,” David replied. “Most of them have charges beyond the attack of the Wolf’s Den—theft, assault, murder. Some were members of Greyback’s pack for years and intentionally infected people. They’ll be tried for those charges separately, but I doubt you’ll see any of them any time soon. The Minister is taking a very hard line on anyone that willingly joins You-Know-Who.”

Harry folded his arms over his chest and nodded.

“How’s the new job going?” he asked.

“It’s a nightmare,” David said, shaking his head. “I knew people were playing politics in the department, but I had no idea Crouch let it get so bad. Practically everyone he hired in the last few years got their position because of their connections. Half of them are useless, and the other half are more concerned with getting a bigger pension than stopping crime. I have to reorganize everything, and I do mean everything. Honestly, if I had known all this before I started, I’d never have let you and Charlus talk me into taking the job.”

“Well,” Harry smiled, clapping his shoulder, “better you than me.”

David didn’t look impressed.

“Speaking of you,” he said. “you must have cured most of the werewolves in Britain by now. What’s next for this little miracle shop of yours?”

“Oh, we’re not even close to done,” Harry said. “The ICW just paid us five million Galleons to expedite the machines and trained healers all over the world. We’re expanding the enchanting factory and putting in a new building just to deal with it all.”

“That seems like a lot of work,” David said. “How are you going to keep up with everything while you’re at Hogwarts?”

“I talked to Dumbledore,” Harry answered, “He’s letting me put a mirror in the Head’s suite so I can leave when I need to.”

“He made you Head Boy?” David grinned. “Congratulations!”

Harry shrugged.

“Let me guess,” he continued smiling. “They made Lily Head Girl.”

A sly smile made its way onto Harry’s against his will.

“I wasn’t too thrilled when Dumbledore told me, but it does have its perks.”

~

The last few days of summer break were a flurry of activity for Harry. He spent most of his days hiring workers and management to take care of his businesses while he was away. Mirror image needed a whole new staff. Agatha and Andromeda needed an influx of new Healers to help them train the healers that would be showing up from all across the world to learn about the cure, and mirror production was being doubled to keep up with demand. Once the international community had caught wind of his latest invention, they began pressuring their governments to import them. Harry had so depleted the enchanters in Britain that they were going to have to begin training their own or start hiring from abroad.

He’d thought about turning The Den into a school to teach enchanting. It would help with his future plans to open an experimental charms office, but with so much going on, he just didn’t have the time or the resources yet.

On the morning of September 1st, Harry woke early and made his way to the kitchen to start breakfast. He’d barely set the pan on the stove when one of the House Elves popped in and effortlessly edged him out of his own kitchen. Shaking his head with a smile, he sat at the table with his cup of coffee just as two barn owls swooped in through the open window.

Both of them were carrying newspapers and looked up at him expectantly. Harry dug six copper Knuts out of his pocket, put three in each pouch attached to the owls’ legs, and took his papers. He debated for a moment before setting down the Daily Prophet and opening the Daily Reflection.

Forbishers Repel Death Eater Attack

By Dorea Potter

Harry frowned as he skimmed through the article. Voldemort and his Death Eaters had been quiet since his defeat at Potter Manor. Only a handful of halfhearted attacks had taken place, putting four people in St. Mungo’s and killing one.

Voldemort was planning something in the background; Harry could feel it. He just didn’t know what. His best bet was Hogwarts. If Voldemort could take control of the castle, he’d have Britain’s magical children, the future of the country, to force the Ministry’s hand.

Harry’s frown deepened as he stared unseeingly at the paper. As of yet, the House Elves hadn’t turned up anything useful. A few Death Eaters were stupid enough to talk about what they were up to–blackmail, bribery, small break-ins. He’d held off on turning that information over to David. He didn’t want them to figure out he could listen in to their conversations.

But that brought up a troubling dilemma. Just how far was he willing to let things slide for the sake of secrecy? If they planned to kill someone, would he stay silent so he could get more vital information later?

Harry didn’t think he could do that. Moreover, he worried that Voldemort might suspect him of tapping the mirrors and use them to set a trap.

It sounded insane, even in his own head, but quite frankly, he’d seen more ludicrous plans come to fruition.

He was pulled from his thoughts by the sound of small, bare feet pattering loudly on the linoleum floor. Amanda raced into the kitchen, climbed onto his lap, and wrapped her arms tightly around his chest. Alfie followed her in and lay down near his feet.

“I don’t want you to go,” she pouted.

Harry smiled and hugged her.

“I’m sorry, but I have to go back to school,” he said soothingly. “And I’ll set up a mirror at Hogwarts so you can talk to me every night. I’ll even see if Dumbledore will let you visit on the weekends. How about that?”

“Can’t I go to Hogwarts with you?” she asked pitifully.

“Not for a few more years,” Harry said.

Amanda laid her head on his chest and fell silent as the House Elf levitated breakfast onto the table.

“Do you promise I can visit?” she asked eventually.

“I promise,” he said, kissing the top of her head. “And I can visit you, too.”

“Okay,” she replied softly, sadly.

Smiling, Harry started loading their plates. Just as they began to eat, Sylvia stepped into the kitchen. She took one look at them and smiled softly.

“Good morning.”

“Morning,” Harry said, tilting his head back so she could kiss him.

Narcissa, Bellatrix, and Lily joined them a moment later. After breakfast, they showered, dressed, and stepped through the mirror to the Leaky Cauldron. Amanda clung tightly to Harry’s hand as they made the short trek to King’s Cross Station. Her eyes widened in wonder as she watched first Lily, then Bellatrix, and Narcissa pass through the barrier separating platforms nine and ten.

“Ready?” Harry asked.

Amanda nodded nervously and tightened her grip on his hand.

“If you get scared, just close your eyes and keep walking,” he whispered. “I’ll be right beside you the whole time.”

She nodded again, and he gave her hand a comforting squeeze before tugging it and taking a step forward. Amanda rushed to keep up with his long strides. He glanced down at her face as they approached the barrier. Her eyes grew wide and then shut tightly just before they reached it. Harry smiled as they stepped seamlessly through to the other side and came to a stop.

“You can open your eyes now,” he said.

Amanda slowly opened her eyes and stared in awe at the crimson train, but it didn’t hold her attention for long. Her eyes bounced around the station as she took in the people and the pets surrounding them.

Sylvia stepped out of the barrier behind them and caressed Amanda’s hair.

“You alright, sweetheart?” she asked.

The girl nodded, eyes wide as she twisted her head this way and that to watch the platform curiously. Smiling, Sylvia took the hand Harry wasn’t holding, and they walked over to Lily and Bellatrix.

“Where’s Narcissa?” Harry asked.

“Getting us a compartment,” Lily said.

“Lily!”

Marlene rushed up to Lily and pulled her into a hug. When she spotted Harry over her shoulder, she blushed lightly but smiled.

“Hi, Harry.”

“Hi, Marlene,” he said, kissing her cheek and pulling her into a tight hug.

“Daddy, is she going to be my aunt, too?” Amanda asked.

Marlene blushed bright red while Harry stammered for an answer. Lily and Bellatrix were no help as they descended into giggles.

“I hope not,” Charlus responded, approaching with a wide grin. “He’ll cause a revolt if he takes all the ladies.”

Dorea shook her head in amusement beside him as James rolled his eyes.

“I’ll explain when we get home,” Sylvia told her daughter softly.

Harry gave her a grateful look.

“Anyone seen Remus or Sirius?” James asked.

“Not yet,” Harry answered. “But we haven’t been here long.”

They all talked for a while, catching up and occasionally greeting friends. Remus and Sirius arrived fifteen minutes before the train was scheduled to leave. They quickly joined James, and after bidding his parents a quick goodbye, they boarded the train to find a compartment.

“We should go find Narcissa,” Harry said.

Amanda rushed forward and hugged him tightly around the waist. Dropping down to one knee, he hugged her back. When he stood up, he kissed Sylvia and helped Lily and Bellatrix drag their trunks onto the train. It took a few minutes to find the compartment Narcissa was in near the back of the train.

Harry lifted the trunks into the luggage rack one at a time. By the time he finished, the whistle blew, signaling to everyone that the train would be leaving in five minutes. Students rushed onto the train and waved their final goodbyes before the Hogwarts Express lurched into motion.

“I can’t believe we’re starting our final year at Hogwarts,” Lily sighed.

“I still have two years left,” Bellatrix reminded her.

“I’m sure we’ll find some way to keep in touch by then,” Lily assured her.

“Well, in case you don’t, I’ll just have to make this year count,” Bellatrix smirked.

Leaning forward off the seat, she dropped to her knee and reached for Harry’s belt.

“We don’t have time,” Narcissa said, swatting her hands. “Harry, Lily, and I have to go to the Prefects meeting.”

Bellatrix pouted and levered herself back into the seat beside Marlene.

“Speaking of which, we should go now,” Lily said. “We’ll be back in an hour.”

Harry, Narcissa, and Lily left the compartment and slowly made their way to the front of the train. It was Harry’s first time seeing the Prefect’s carriage, and it wasn’t nearly as nice as he’d imagined. The churn of the wheels and the hiss of the steam were noticeably louder this close to the engine. At the very front, the trolley lady stood next to a stack of boxes, loading sweets onto her trolley, and offered them a small smile as they entered. Long benches ran the length of the walls with tables in front. Smaller benches were placed evenly apart, bordering the center aisle.

They took a seat at one of the tables and talked quietly. Prefects trickled in over the next fifteen minutes, alone or in pairs until all twenty-four had squeezed into the benches along the left side of the train.

“I suppose we should get started,” Lily smiled. “Let’s start by getting everyone’s names.”

The meeting went on for half an hour, but Harry suspected that was only because Lily felt like, as Head Girl, she had to make work for herself. In reality, there wasn’t much to do besides schedule patrols for the train. Anything else would have to wait until they arrived at Hogwarts.

After a brief talk with Alice and Remus, who regained his Prefect badge now that Harry was Head Boy, it was decided that they would take the first patrol while he and Lily would take the last. The rest of the Prefects would fill out the rest of the trip.

The meeting broke up quickly once it was over. Everyone was anxious to get back to their friends. Harry, Lily, and Narcissa made their way to the back of the train, stopping occasionally to check on the first years they passed.

When they reached their compartment, they noticed that the blinds were drawn. Lily exchanged a suspicious look with Harry and Narcissa, slid open the door, and they all stared.

Marlene was naked and bound on one of the seats. Thin black ropes crisscrossed her pale skin. Two were wrapped around her shins and thighs, forcing her legs to remain bent and spread. Another bound the base of her large breasts. Her pale mounds had turned a deep red and protruded spectacularly from her body. The final length of rope bound her wrists to the luggage rack above her head.

She looked at them pleadingly and mumbled through the red knickers stuffed in her mouth. Bellatrix sat next to her, completely unfazed by their return. She had three fingers buried in Marlene’s folds, slowly pumping in and out. They glistened with her arousal while she nipped and sucked at one of Marlene’s engorged nipples.

“Oh, good, you’re back,” Bellatrix smiled.

She bit Marlene’s nipple, causing her to whimper softly.

“Bellatrix, what are you doing!?” Narcissa hissed.

Shoving Harry and Lily into the compartment, she stepped inside and closed the door.

“I got bored,” Bellatrix shrugged.

Lily sighed and pulled the knickers from Marlene’s mouth.

“Are you alright?” she asked.

“Yes,” Marlene whined. “Please let me cum. It feels like she’s been teasing me for hours.”

Bellatrix smirked, kissed her reddened nipples, and jammed her fingers in deep. Marlene moaned and bucked her hips, but Bellatrix pulled her fingers back out.

“Bella, please!” Marlene begged.

“Mh, I love it when you beg,” Bellatrix said, licking the side of her breast.

Suddenly, Lily drew her wand in a flash. Ropes shot from the tip and snaked around Bellatrix. She shrieked as she fell to the floor. Her hands were bound to her ankles with just enough slack for her to straighten her body.

“Harry, can you take care of Marlene?” Lily asked. “I think I need to teach Bella a lesson about playing well with others.”

Before he could answer, she reached under her white skirt and slid her knickers down her legs. Stepping out of them, she grabbed a handful of Bellatrix’s wild, curly locks and dragged her awkwardly to the other side of the compartment. As soon as she was seated, she hiked her skirt up to her waist and tugged Bellatrix’s face between her legs.

Shaking his head with a smile, Harry turned to Marlene and cut her legs free.

“Harry, just fuck me, please,” she whined.

He arched his eyebrow as he stowed his wand back in his pocket and reached for his belt. The moment his erection was free, Marlene wrapped her legs around his waist and pulled him close. His rapidly hardening length dragged across her folds, causing her to throw her head back and moan.

Gripping her bum, he lifted her up and sank into her dripping depths. Unfortunately, the position was awkward. The seat was too low, and Marlene’s hands were still bound to the luggage rack, making it impossible for her to wrap her arms around him to steady herself. After a moment of thought, Harry spun them around and sat on the seat. He’d barely settled when Marlene shuffled to her knees, gripped the luggage rack, and began slamming herself up and down on his cock.

“Oh, God, yes!” she screamed.

Harry grunted as she rode him desperately. Her mouth hung open, sucking in harsh, panting breaths while she stared unseeingly at the wall behind him. Her heavy breasts bounced so harshly that he was worried she might hurt herself. Reaching up, he cupped them in his hands. They were much firmer than usual and felt warm to the touch. He gave them a gentle, experimental squeeze. Marlene moaned and arched her back, pressing them into his hands.

Feeling more confident, he groped them a bit harder and ran his thumbs over her nipples. They were swollen, red, and stiff, bending under the pressure of his thumb.

Marlene let out a loud, inarticulate cry as she climaxed suddenly. Arousal drenched his shaft while her body shuddered and jerked. It went on for several long moments before her body sagged and her head drooped, but even then, she never stopped moving her hips entirely.

Seeing the pressure the rope was putting on her hands, Harry cut them free from the luggage rack but kept them bound. She immediately wrapped them around his neck and hugged herself to his chest as she rocked in his lap. Taking a quick glance over her shoulder, he smiled.

Narcissa, Lily, and Bellatrix had all lost their clothes. Narcissa was watching him raptly, a hand buried between her legs, while Lily continued using the bound Bellatrix for her own pleasure.

It was going to be an interesting ride.

~

Hours later, they arrived at Hogwarts. After making sure the first years found their way to Hagrid and the train was empty, Harry and Lily rode the last carriage up to the castle. The opening feast went like any other. The first years were sorted, the new Defense professor–Florean Fortescue, of all people–was introduced, and a wonderous meal was eaten.

While the fifth year Prefects rounded up the first years and led them to their dormitories, Professor McGonagall approached Harry and Lily as they were about to leave.

“Mr. Potter, Ms. Evans,” she greeted them. “If you’ll follow me, I’ll show you to your suite.”

“How was your summer, professor?” Lily asked as they traced the familiar path to Gryffindor Tower.

“Not as relaxing as I’d hoped,” she replied, glancing at Harry. “But it was well worth the effort.”

Harry smiled as they entered the common room. McGonagall led them over to a portrait of a young woman tucked in a darkened corner and paused.

“Excelsior,” she said.

The woman in the painting smiled and swung open to reveal a small, comfortable living room decorated with a couch, fireplace, two desks, and a winged back chair. As he stepped inside, Harry saw several bookcases broken up by two doors along the back wall. Next to the fireplace sat a large mirror, which, after a closer look, he was happy to see was one of his Any Mirrors.

“Your bedrooms are there,” McGonagall said, pointing to the two doors, “and there’s a shared bathroom in between. I trust that won’t be an issue.”

“No, professor,” Lily smiled.

“Good,” Professor McGonagall nodded. “Mr. Potter, Professor Dumbledore has informed me that you are allowed to essentially come and go as you please. However, I would appreciate it if you would tell me if you plan to be out of the castle for an extended period of time.”

“Yes, ma’am,” Harry nodded.

“Very well. I’ll leave you to get settled in,” she said. “I expect the two of you to hold your first Prefects meeting in the next couple of days and assign everyone their patrol times. If you have any questions or concerns, bring them to me.”

“We will,” Lily said. “Goodnight, professor.”

“Goodnight, Ms. Evans, Mr. Potter.”

Professor McGonagall stepped back out into the common room, and the door closed behind her. Smiling, Lily wrapped her arms around his neck.

“It’s been a while since I had you all to myself,” she said.

Harry grinned and leaned down to kiss her.

“Daddy?”

They froze and turned to the mirror. Amanda stood in her pajamas with a colorful book in her hands.

“Would you read me a bedtime story?” she asked.

Suppressing a sigh, Harry let go of Lily and stepped through the mirror.

“Sure,” he said.

“I’ll start unpacking,” Lily said.

Harry nodded as Amanda led him by the hand over to the couch. She seated herself between him and Sylvia and handed him the book.

“Once upon a time, there was a very shy dragon…”

~

Harry lay in bed with Lily curled against his side, but no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn’t sleep. Too many thoughts kept running through his mind. Eventually, he gave up entirely and slipped out of bed, careful not to disturb the redhead. Writing her a quick note, he left it on the nightstand, grabbed his cloak, and silently slipped out into the hallways.

His feet carried him to the seventh floor, where he summoned the Room of Hidden Things. Drawing his wand, he summoned the closest broom, a battered Cleansweep, and took to the air. Fortunately, most of the landmarks he remembered were the same, and it didn’t take him long to find what he was looking for. He landed lightly in front of the marble bust, atop which sat the Diadem of Rowena Ravenclaw.

“Alright,” he said to himself. “Let’s see if I can figure you out.”

Drawing his wand, he made to cast a Detection Charm when a small, blue bolt struck his finger painfully. With a hiss, he shook his hand and glared at the Diadem.

This was going to be harder than he thought.

No, I'm still working on it.

This story dead?

“I still have two years left,” Bellatrix reminded her. - pretty sure that's supposed to be Narcissa; Bella is in the same year as Lily & Harry

Krytherian

Great stuff! Poor David. LOL

Doug Barton

Awesome as always. Hate these Patreon restrictions on content though.

AndrewJTalon

I think you switched up Narcissa’s and Bellatrix’s ages. In the other ones, Narcissa was a year younger and Bellatrix was the same year as Harry

Jonathan Edwards

Not sure if it was ever said before, but I could have sworn that Bella was in the same year as Harry n Lily with Cissa 1 year behind. Yes, Bella was in Connie's class with Harry. 1 small inconsistency in an otherwise great chapter. Thx. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Jim Wiegand

“I got bored” absolutely cracked me up. Great chapter!

Erinnyes

Damn it. i keep doing that. No idea why.

Professor Quill

You flipped Narcissa and Bellatrix year wise. Narcissa has two years left.

Captain Hair

The good news: no new Voldi attacks to speak of. The bad news : no new Voldi attacks to speak of. Why do I have this terrible feeling snot-nosed Tommie is going to try and lull people into a false sense of security before he makes his next big move? Confidence in the mindset of the more competent master villains over the years. Look sharp people. Eternal vigilance is key to survival. (a.k.a. I impatiently await the next post.)
