The Edgerunners Vid is Coming (i promise) | October 2022 Patreon Update

Sorry for the late update! I wanted to be able to say, "Hey, something's coming soon!" before I wrote anything down.

I recently released my video titled "Pokemon Colosseum Could Have Been the Future of the Franchise." I generally end up making at least one Pokemon video a year, and since I haven't been watching Pokemon Journeys, I wanted to keep that up by talking about my favourite game. I did end up changing the title for hopes that the algorithm would catch up (it did), but the original title is more accurate to what it's actually about.

HOWEVER: I probably shouldn't have made that video then. Basically, I figured that since I'll probably end up spending the rest of the year talking about this incredible Fall season, I'd have a bit of time in September to cover something else. I (stupidly) didn't expect Cyberpunk: Edgerunners to be as good as it is. What's more, I didn't expect it to have a production story this interesting.

So as soon as I'd finished on the Colosseum vid, I immediately started researching and writing about Edgerunners, and I've finally finished the final draft of the script today. Right now, I'm not sure whether it'll be out at the end of October or the start of November. Netflix anime have the annoying habit of dropping out of the conversation way too quickly, but I'm hoping that people are still interested by then.

The title, as you might expect, is: "Breaking Down Cyberpunk: Edgerunners' Breathtaking Animation"

My workload outside of YT has increased in the last couple months, so I haven't had as much time as I would normally like for this, but it's all coming together. When I've finished that one, the next step is to talk about Chainsaw Man, and then Mobile Suit Gundam: Witch of Mercury during its second cour.
