That's not even a question. It's a statement~

Obligatory traditional media color work for this year. I need to work more with my crayons, it's fun, eventhough I do not like how the scan dulls out the colors. Of course I try to manually adjust the color balance and contrast, but that's a hit or miss, balancing act. Pulling out warm colors weakenss the cold shadows and vice versa. The colors will never look as good as they do in reality~

Yeah the tripod xD forgot about that, I've got one because my dad was a amateur photographer. I've used in my past the camera for catching photo on drawings, did a better image than the scanner, but the room was properly lightened and yeah, also because the tripod (And yes, catching a photo take more time than using the scanner, I understand)

Yeah, I've actually did run a few tries with using a digital camera, the results weren't really much better. It came out a lot darker than it should be, probably would need to raise the exposure time (or get some studio lights), but that would mean I would need to hold the camera perfectly still for a few seconds (which ain't happening when I'm bending down, trying to focus and hold the optimal frame) or get a tripod... don't really feel like buying a tripod to just snap one picture a year though, eh... will see~

I do believe this is one of your finest works my friend! But I’m also kinda bias lol

Have you thought about catching a photo with a semi-pro camera?Maybe the hardest part will be set the lights in the room to have uniformity
