That’s how I feel when others cover stray kids or other groups. Nothing ever beats the originals. They take weeks to months learning their cb dances and songs and taking their time to get their stuff down packed and throw in their style to the choreo so watching other covers that’s probably only practiced for a week or so just don’t hit as much most times.

i can't speak for other groups, but when it comes to skz, they record the whole song themselves. Chan even broke down this performance on vlive and showed us the raw vocals/track

OOOOO you should definitely check out Ateez MAMA 2019 performance !!!!!!! They did their own lil twist to a BTS song too and I honestly love that performance as a whole too. I SWEAR ITS SO GOOD IM NOT LYING

The camera work at these award shows drives me CRAZY so much of the time! It's either way zoomed out or way too close! I just want to see the choreo, I don't need a close up of each person singing! Let me see the dance as a whole, not chopped up from one camera angle to another.

I also LOVE that move in God's menu! It's so cool! Is it just me or do the back ground vocals in Dionysus sound like BTS? Like, I swear I heard Jin's voice in there. I'm not sure how it works when someone covers a song. Do they have to record the whole song (background vocals and such) for their performance, or can they use the same backing track as the original artists did and just sing to that?

If you didn't know Nigel, J-hope was in charge of writing Dionysus so he wrote most of it. He composed the main melodies as well.

I’m probably going to get eaten alive for saying this but as a Stay…that is one of my least favorite covers that they have done 😬…..they have covered Blackpink, Exo, BtoB and absolutely killed it to the point where I like their version more than the original, but that BTS cover just doesn’t hit like the others. Either way thanks for the reaction! Keep ‘em coming! If you want to see more live stuff I wld still definitely suggest Kingdom and KCon 2022. Also, that was Han not Changbin 😂 but you were close!

The one you kept thinking was Changbin is Han! Changbin is the guy that winked at the start! Hyunjin just looked *chefs kiss* this performance. His dancing is incredible.
