Was confident you’d love this album. I haven’t cried this hard since uhgood from Mono. Wild flower… Indigo album .. literally a work of art. Been listening to it every day 💙 Closer is my bread n butter too, but I keep switching up lolll thanks for the reaction Nigel!!

This album is so good, I love this especially Wildflower

TaeTaeforlife

This whole album is a masterpiece, loved the reaction. But can we please talk about Nigel’s reaction to when another audio clip was attached to the end of that All Day lyric video?? 💀 I could not stop laughing

Zarina Ceniza

Also I just remembered that RM recently said that he often likes to lay down in fields of wildflowers, hence the lyrics "flower field that's where I'm at, open land that's where I'm at". And in the song Forgetful there's also a lyric about feeling the grass and remembering your childhood. I can definitely understand why that would feel so relieving and freeing for him to just lay down in an open space and feel the earth, the sun. I can't imagine how trapped he probably feels by all the expectations put on him by millions, and feeling so anxious about saying or doing the wrong thing.

Ok so in an effort to not be long-winded, let me preface this with saying that some of the best music isn't the kind that just makes you happy, it's the kind that just makes you feel seen and understood. That's exactly what this album does, especially for the ones who are still searching and trying to understand what their purpose is. What I really got from this album is that Namjoon has really experienced alot of different people and situations, and he's tired. Tired of fakeness, tired of being expected to be so strong, tired of feeling like he's just floating through this unrealistic glitzy world of fame where everyone is doing it for the wrong reasons and he just wants to be himself. It sounds like he's had alot of moments where he feels empty and lost, and he just wants to be human before anything else. I think he's really longing for normalcy and simplicity. I think he really wanted to be honest about how hard this idol life has been for him. After all, he's just a person who loved and still loves music, and he just wants to be happy. I hope he feels relieved after this, and I hope he can let go of some of the burdens he's been carrying and just be Kim Namjoon.

same and the mv had me in a choke hold for like half an hour, couldn't stop replaying and crying just wow....

A true masterpiece

Delilah Rivera

Namjoon's truly a poet; a great writer and I feel like that's so rare nowadays (particularly amongst the mainstream/more popular acts). I enjoyed reading the lyrics for Indigo yesterday, and i'm gonna go back to reading it again coz there's so much to unpack and ponder on. His music is timeless and he deserves all the best :(

Aly

Was my first time seeing wildflower with someone else. Thank you Nigel! 💜

Kellie Muetzel

Nigel was really channeling his inner "youjeen" during wild flower got me ctfu lol

Destiny Bernstine

forgot to mention, namjoon recorded change p.2 while he was drunk it was done in one take and 3 minutes. it''s okay that you didn't like it lol i personally love it because of the techno kinda beat and i have adhd so my brain just loves the beat

korgi

Wildflower is insane, I cried my eyes out watching it lol.

Katherine Cordero

I can't even choose a favorite song yet... but I agree, he literally chose the *perfect* features for every track. Literally the most diverse group of people, but he made them sound cohesive on this album together. And these lyrics are so personal/raw... he said it sums up his late 20s.

Seneca

joon man...talented genius at work fr. there is no one like him. the emotions, lyrics, delivery, features, musicality, everything. simply perfect. i feel so blessed being able to live and breathe in the same universe that him and the other members exist in. true masters. they are the key. thank you for sharing with us, it was nice being able to experience this with someone who loves and appreciates them, genuinely.

Indigo 😮‍💨 The entire album is a masterpiece. Wildflower blew me away! I didn’t expect that, and that’s probably why I love it so much. It’s one of those songs you feel, and listening to him being so honest in his poetic lyrics is phenomenal. Thanks for listening to the album!

Jules

This whole album was so beautiful ( i cant even pick a favorite) he’s such a amazing lyricist! All the women on this album had beautiful voices. Thank you for your honest reaction Nigel.

Oneandonlydai

indigo is a masterpiece. this entire album was just so beautiful. the lyrics were everything as always, always meaningful and poetic. yes you are right he's done trying to prove himself and is just gonna be himself. namjoon showing a beautiful side of him "the real him"!! love how honest you are nigel, thank you for another awesome reaction.

grace

this entire album is just so beautiful. my personal favorite song on this album would have to be Change pt.2,,when i first listened to it i just like froze up i even had to take a break from listening because i just had to take some time to take it in because i just loved it so much. I'm glad you reacted to this. remember to stream on all or any platform you listen to music on!!

korgi

He recorded change while he was drunk without a beat and you can tell but that's exactly the beauty of the song He usually has songs with complex meaning and metaphors meanwhile in this one he is like :Fuck my ex,fuck the problematic shit that i did when was 19 Like he is way too honest and unfiltered I'm glad we saw this side of his

Cannot WAIT to watch this! Also Nigel, at this point as an army, you should really go to Dool Set’s website for lyrics! Google “doolset BTS”. She translates lyrics and even helps analyze the wordplay and meanings- armys praise them!!. Lots of reactors even react using her website! (since most of these lyric videos are always wonky... lol people just copy paste google translate)

Seneca

please keep in mind that these lyric videos are not always accurate; they release as fast as they can just to get as many views as they can. doolset is highly praised by army for her translations and breakdown of bts's lyrics. she has translated/analyzed most, if not all, of their works and is currently working on indigo as well! here is her website: https://doolsetbangtan.wordpress.com !! check it out on your own time if you'd like (or react 👀) because if you think their lyrics are beautiful based off of lyric videos on YouTube just wait until you experience their music this way! also, Tablo is from the korean hip hop group Epik High! they debuted in 2003 and they were/are a huge inspiration for bts, especially namjoon and yoongi. if I remember correctly, epik high's song "fly" is what led namjoon (and yoongi?) into the genre of hip hop, and it all began from there :) they are now really good friends and are always showing support.

liz

yes yes, so excited to watch!
