It’s very hard to binge to only two groups, I hope you do find a different outlook on KPOP on what it really is and find more groups and solo idols to listen to Nigel!

They give out their life, they don't have freedom but they still show love pure love to their fans And let's not forget how many things they go through just to debut it only takes one random kpop survival show to understand how much they give just to be an idol so lets not discredit them. I love boracitys videos nigel and I'm glad you reacted to it 💜.personally don't think that anyone that loves BTS should be hating kpop like for me personally it doesn't even make sense to hate kpop and love BTS when they are literally the face kpop. They are international now however they are still kpop idols and they themselves refer themselves as idol in multiple recent videos .one example for this would be how jimin got emotional in the pixel when the fans talk about doing kpop for life. Although they weren't talking about BTS or him, kpop is his root. I'm just an army but I don't really agree with hating the kpop thing ITS OKAY TO NOT WANT TO CHECK OUT OTHER GROUPS THO, like ALL IM SAYING IS WE SHOULDNT BE HATING IT. Please people get that mindset out of your head and take a chance. Bts was the first group I started listen to but now Ateez is my #1 group but their nothing like Bts and that's ok for me. Widen your perspective people!!!

2023-06-05 12:17:24 +0000 UTCand nigel, if you choose to do so, i would suggest that you check out suga's suchwita episodes with seventeen's hoshi and woozi to kind of check out another group that in theory "operates" the same as bts especially with them both being groups who are authentic in their craft and participate in writing, producing, and even choreographing their own content.

2023-06-05 06:01:53 +0000 UTCidk if anyone else is gonna pay attention to this since im like hella late😭but on the whole not being a fan of the kpop world, i once had the exact same mindset as nigel with only being an armystay for a while so i would only listen to bts and stray kids. i also thought that kpop was very childish and kid music and that bts had a completely different sound so it didn't necessarily feel like "kpop", but more so just "good music that just so happens to be in korean". i can say that I PERSONALLY (im capitalizing this bc it's my opinion so don't come for me) after awhile got kinda bored only listening to two groups. i was very new to kpop so i would binge bts and stray kids content all at once at the same time and i wanted something else to peak my interest. at the beginning of trying to find something new, i did end up comparing a lot of groups to bts because of how successful bts are, how great their music sounds, the message behind their songs ,their hardwork and dedication, personality, etc., but i didn't realize how damaging that was in finding my own personal taste, as well as to bts themselves. as army, when we see people reacting to other groups and comparing them to bts, we are very quick to say "oh they're not like bts", "they will never be like bts" and so on but as much as we say that as a defense, maybe we should change our perspective. yes, we are correct that NO ONE is like bts but bts and it's not a bad thing at all. when i started listening to seventeen, i would subconsciously compare them to bts because at the time that was all i knew. like if a certain song or group didn't live up to the standards that bts had set in my mind, then the music was automatically shit. i soon had to realize that not being "like bts" is a good thing. so sometimes as army, if those who choose to do so, i would suggest and encourage us to take a step back and tell ourselves that if we decide to check out another group like seventeen, got7, nct, treasure or whoever, THEY ARE NOT BTS and that is okay. after changing my mindest on that aspect, seventeen, nct, and enhypen ended up becoming my absolute favorite groups ever, just like how bts are still my favorites. and not to compare but i am comparing lol, seventeen contributes into writing, producing, and choreographing their own music, EXACTLY like bts does, but people won't give them a try simply because they are not bts. not everyone will be like bts so we kind of have to take bts out of our minds we when do decide to check out other groups because like i said before, bts is bts and when i say that these other groups aren't like bts, that isn't taking away from how successful and wonderful and amazing as bts are, it's just the truth. not every kpop group is going to sound like bts, look like bts, perform like bts, because at the end of the day, THEY ARE NOT BTS , but that doesn't have to deter us away from branching out and wanting to get into other groups.

It sounds like their company gives them music that has every sound under the sun and throws it all togeather with no meaning behind it. Alot of it to me is not pleasing to the ear. And i find that the bigger the group the harder it is for me because its hard to fit so many people on a 3 min song. I just wish people werent so angry with ARMYs who only like BTS. And i think this way not only about Kpop but western music as well. All the music in the US is a revamped song that has been playing over and over again on the radio. Everything sounds the same, there isnt much meaning if any at all and the singer is someone no one knows who has one good song OR its a well known artist with all their music sounding the same. So for me i think its music in general that is hurting.

I wouldn't say I agree with not being a kpop fan since I listen to a lot of kpop and I do enjoy a lot of the songs but I understand how certain army feel. For me I am Atiny(Ateez Fan) and Army for life, their just two groups who I personally have a deeper connection with. Neither groups feel like your typical kpop group whatsoever and that's what I love about both groups. I relate to each groups songs a lot and I never get tired of their music. They put so much hard work into their craft and that's what makes it enjoyable. And I could never see myself saying "they dance better" or "I like their music better" They both equally have my heart and I love them for eternity. Though I won't lie stray kids have been growing on me bc of Nigel. I think my appreciation for them as increased as I've been going down this rabbit alongside Nigel but that's the beauty of music. I relate to their songs sometimes on emotional level and only they make me feel that way. I can't say I am a Kpop fan I am a BTS fan and part of the ARMY. They will be my forever group. Not Listening to another group has nothing to do with being closed minded. Its a matter of interest. If he has no interest or his heart is not open to listen to other groups yet, thats totally up to Nigel. Listening out of ‘pressure’ or ‘force’ wont make it genuine and will only make him burn out even more. We come on to Nigel’s patreon for BTS and Stray Kids contents (and abit of others). Lets just wait to what HE decides. can always suggest, but never pressure him into anything :)

They’re my age so i really relate to them. SVT is another breed and I cherish them individually too. Im glad they have friendship between each other and are within HYBE!

I need to feel the artist like they are the flowers of many colors and types (roses, daisies, hyacinth, etc.) and I get to grab hold, admire, cherish, adore, and smell (take in their heart and their art) of them. Like I have to feel it with every part of my body and this reason is why I no longer listen to many American artists. Bts filled that category because no others I've noticed are as one of a kind and rare as they are. Its just shows that these 7 beautiful (inside and out), gifted, rare, raw, flawed, imperfect, rooted, disciplined, intelligent, artly (not a word but they are art-inside and out) men have become my forever heart.

And the MASIVE amount of content he has to go through with just two groups. I watched creators take on group after group at the same time and then gets so burnt out and so far behind. It’s not even funny it’s too much. We should be thankful for what he is able to do right now. Doesn’t mean other groups won’t come in the future, but let him get through the content he has first. A little empathy For a human being and their time and stress level goes a long way 🤷♀️
