Breaking your contract is a long process and skz renewed theirs recently. SKZ hadn't even debuted for 2 years before he left. There are also other groups where members have left but they're still chill with them or they become friends again eventually. The boys made it clear they don't want to be associated with him ever and I will respect their wishes.

Most of my stay friends have been fans since the beginning and when I hear the circumstances of what happened when he left, the less I want to watch content with him in it. I know people say we don't know what happened, but can we be real? Jype isn't a company that will just drop someone just because they want to. It took Jae from day6 years to do so and he complained about it for a long time online too. When jype says "personal reasons" something happened and they don't want to say. It wasn't actual personal reasons.

I used to be really picky about anime that I would invest my time into because of artwork styles because some really weren’t for me but I recently watched Mob Psycho 100 which was totally out of my depth and loved it even though if it wouldn’t have been recommended to me and highly regarded I would have never chosen to watch it on my own. I have to remind myself to be open minded about these things because I’m sure I’m missing out on tons of great anime that originally didn’t suite my tastes.

Once they finished filming, they publicly announced that they were divorced because their whole thing is that they “don’t like each other” (not actually true, but they play it up A LOT). So both Stays and Stray Kids refer to them as “the Divorced Couple”. And it’s referred to a lot in the 2 Kids Room

Here’s a video of him talking around Woojin leaving: https://youtu.be/IwPLdd-Yyo0 We will never know why Woojin left but it was clearly sudden and in the middle of a comeback. There’s a MV you will see soon (and I don’t remember which one) but you can clearly tell that Woojin was there at the time of filming the MV, but had left by the time it had been released, so they had to do some weird editing and cuts to keep him out of it without reshooting the whole thing.

The kpop industry, unlike the western music industry, has its complications and very strict rules when it comes to these kinda situations as it caters so much to the public and audiences so we can't really know the truth. Anyway I'm glad stray kids are thriving as 8 and I'm glad that woojin cleared his name and found his path now 💕

2023-07-09 10:51:58 +0000 UTCIt is sad when you see how happy Woojin and the others seemed at the time but we really don't know what happened between them and the fans didn't exactly help with the situation either. I believe he didn't deserve all the hate that stays were giving him at the time. However when he left there was a huge hole left both in the fandom and in the group. To me the circumstances of him leaving seemed a bit odd to me because usually if a group member wants to leave the group, especially the lead singer, it typically involves a long legal process but they seemed to have terminated his contract rather fast. And on top of that the group had to re-record all of their songs while preparing for their comeback. The amount of stress and heartbreak the boys went through after he left and still had to perform concerts as well it just pained me to see it. At one of their concerts they all broke down on stage while talking to the fans and thats how I knew that they were going through a lot more than what they were allowed to say. I personally believe, despite the pain they went through and what Woojin went through, Woojin leaving was good for both them and Woojin. Him leaving gave Stray Kids better line distribution, opportunities to shine, better opportunities to improve their skills, and become the amazing group they are today. Woojin was able to become a soloist, make his own music, and let his beautiful voice shine. From what I've seen of him he seems to be doing well for himself. So I think these events happened for a reason. I do wish that people would stop hating on Woojin, like I get that it is a painful memory for some stays who have been there since the beginning but it's been 5 1/2 years it's time to let go of it and move on. Both Skz and Woojin are on their own paths and are doing just fine. And if people want to support and listen to both Skz and Woojin that's perfectly fine. I see no issues with it. ☺️anyway sorry for this long paragraph lol hope you're having a great day/ night when or if you see this!😁🧡

2023-07-09 00:36:20 +0000 UTCi feel like every experience is valid!! so there's no problem with how u decide to feel ab him <3 for me, after he left i was extremely depressed, but when he came back on sns and shiii i was so happy lol and decided to support him as solo bc if were being completely honest, i think the music that woojin like and the route that skz was taking that year experimenting with their sound (2019) didn't match well, and probably he noticed it during side effects cause we went through HELL, but yeah the only thing that messes with me is when ppl says that he never liked the kids or vice versa, cause there's so many proof of him taking care of them, for example, when hyunjin was going through that horrible rumor during i am not promotions, k-nets where on his back every day and jype did ABSOULTE NOTHING AB IT!!! they still made him promote, there was not a single post clarifying the situation, nothing, and during a little fan meet in a mall hyunjin broke into tears out of nowhere while performing grow up :( they never spoke ab that so we will never know the truth but yeah, woojin was the only member who stopped singing and went to hug him, he stayed into a hug for real long, the manager told them to stop but woojin didn't care and kept on consoling him, and omg theres more things like this one but i already wrote too much lol, to the ppl who actually hate him; u really don't have to like him but at least don't disrespect the journey he had w the kids back then and stop spreading lies on the internet for gods sake, they really become like the skz antis that are everywhere on twt bashing the kids. i do not watch any content of him rn so i wouldn't know how is he doing as solo lol but i agree w u! 8 is faaate <33 i'm so proud of them, frrr, thanks for sharing ur opinion too!! i feel relieved knowing that not every single person on this fandom hates him lol

2023-07-08 23:50:14 +0000 UTCBut me being a fetus stay 😭 I don’t hate him at all and I know he was a good person for the memebers but i to was refusing to watch content that includes him until Nigel starts watching them but yeah seeing that he was a good person with nice personality idk like it’s so sad but it feels really weird for me to think it I don’t really know how to explain it it’s just that as a fetus stay it’s so hard for me to think that they were 9 until I started survival show and stuff but recently I watched one of his covers that he released month ago( woojin) and ..idk how to explain it but I was like “he was born to be soloist” like he just gives off that vibe in a really good way and it felt like skz is complete as 8 and woojin is an amazing soloist it feels right to me

2023-07-08 23:44:58 +0000 UTCahhh maaan watching the woojin x chan 2kids room made me remember how much of a great dynamic they had :( i'm lowkey sad lol, i think new stays who refuse to watch content with him on it will never know how he was literally the member who took care of chan the most, theres a lot of videos where the kids are teasing chan and woojin is the one who makes them stop (they're friends so teasing is ok lol) or console him when chan looks down, and chan used to express it a lot too, how he was so thankful to have woojin to rely on, they literally had a mom and dad dynamic in the group, i don't feel comfortable liking him anymore, but i had so much affection for him back in the day, he was very lovely with all the members, damn so much nostalgia rn😭

When you get to see Chan and Seungmin it’s the same thing Chan opens up to him. Hyunjin takes the cake for Seungmin’s number one fan! Their episode is nice too. I’m still hopeful you’ll react to Seungmin’s Lee Mujin episode sometime soon ❤️
