@Cassidy Yup, we're in the exact same boat. Been supporting since the beginning, but his organization and consistency has increasingly been lacking over the years, particularly this/last year. He actually does have mods, but a mod also commented on here that they can never reach him lol. Also, many people have offered to help him create a system, but he doesn't use/see their offers I don't think! I'll stay supporting nigel for the same reasons as you, but I'm considering taking a break for a few and letting the content pile up bc it takes a while. this whole "I don't get bts reactions" felt really mean considering my experience with his recommending tier.. :( and i think i know which other patreon reactor you're talking about!! if it is them, i love them and they're SO organized and consistent it's crazy!!

Furthermore, someone actually did pay for a higher tier to give recommendations but it seems like they were never followed through - to me that is a logical complaint. And they did it very respectfully.

I also don't follow any other Kpop groups. I love Nigel's BTS reactions and that's all I watch on here. So naturally if there are less BTS reactions I would wonder should I just switch back to youtube only. I would never dream of telling Nigel what to react to as it's his channel and his freedom. However, I joined Patreon solely for BTS and that bottom line has not changed. 💜

He has stated over and over again that bts will always come first for him and still some people are complaining about the amount of bts content. Just because he currently has more stray kids videos at the moment doesn't mean he's solely focused on them. Why can't he equally enjoy bts and stray kids without people complaining? As someone who joined his patreon for bts content I'm perfectly fine with the schedule and I also have come to enjoy stray kids content as well, slowly learning the group more with Nigel. I'm sorry if this comment comes off as disrespectful, I don't intent to offend anyone I just want this space to not become toxic over something that isn't necessarily that serious.

It really got to me hearing him in this video smugly saying "no one requests bts so don't look at me 😆".. bc when I go to scroll through my DMs with him, it's just me talking to myself once a month like "hi nigel.. you forgot me last month again... sry but isn't this tier 1-3 vids a month?" (little did I know the situation) I'm especially grateful because the only other time it seemed possible to 'catch Nigel's attention' was with Livestream comments - something which I can NEVER be part of because my time zone 🤣 So basically I had no chance & now I see @Kátia⁷?? struggling with that even as a mod (dayum) Anyway, I appreciate both of you for doing your best! But we also honestly share our observation and experiences, and why we would want to leave. As a fellow army, I support nigel 1000%, and love sharing genuine bts moments with him. But– as a paying supporter of his small business, I've been quite dissatisfied with his services. There's always a lack of communication and follow through, and consistency with series. (Sadly I don't think he'll see any of these comments- lack of communication lol. Oh well, glad to know I'm not alone!)

In the end, I'm only here for bts, I don't like skd or kpop, so seeing that most of the content now is about skd, maybe that's why many of us are thinking of stopping paying. I know the love you have for bts and how much you love reacting to them, so I would like to ask if you could react to them the same as skd. 2023-08-02 23:53:16 +0000 UTCIn the Soop is one of my favorite BTS content but it took sooooo long to get to it - understandable since he was busy with other BTS content at that time. I actually took a break due to re-budgeting my finances. This was when ep. 2 reaction was released and before all the Stray Kids reactions, so I didn't drop just because he was reacting to other groups, I have no issues with that at all. :) When I re-subscribed months later, I immediately searched for In the Soop content but it stopped at episode 4. I was a little shocked and back-tracked all the videos and saw the decrease in BTS reactions. Again, I understand because technically I think there are still more BTS videos in TOTAL. It took me some adjusting to, because he used to release several BTS content on a daily basis. I don't expect that from him anymore, because that would be very selfish - I don't want him to burnout and he has a life outside YouTube. While checking all the reactions I missed, I saw Beat Coin and got so excited but it was only clips :( He released You Quiz on the Block and again, I got waaay too excited only to find out it was another clip - ppl were asking him for the full video reaction. His reactions are soooooo hilarious and engaging - I just wish their was engagement in the comments. I kind of stopped commenting a while ago tbh because I didn't see the point (I used to comment way more often). I just hope he doesn't feel attacked by our comments - I don't want it impacting his love for BTS at all and a lot of fandoms think we're mean af loll but there's just more of us overall..so statistically there are more chances to see the toxic "fans". I think the best route is to catch up on all the stuff I miss, and come back every 4-5 months. I'm happy he gets a lot of engagement from Stray Kids fans, so I don't feel as bad when I drop. I'll be taking another break after this month. And I'll see you all again in Dec/Jan :D

Since the new schedule there has been 11 Bts videos and 19 skz videos. Obviously there is a disparity there. If the direction of the channel is to be skz focused, that's your decision and my comment is not to dissuade you from that but rather to inform you that there is, in fact, a disparity of content. You don't react to bts as much as skz anymore; you react to skz more. Many of us army aren't interested in skz or kpop in general so it's natural that we would not want to pay for a service that provides half as much content to them compared to others. Again, thank you for your reaction and support to bts.

That's why this video bothered me enough to comment... him saying "sorry guys, I don't react to bts bc I don't get requests". That kind of hurt, bc I was literally *always* saying "hi nigel, you skipped my requests again lol". I'd even say like, "if the tier isn't once a month, PLEASE let me know so I can opt out! no hard feelings!". But he never answered that.. so I was kind of disappointed in how he treated people in that tier.

I’ve been following him from way back in the beginning and joined his Patreon for the BTS stuff, but I’ve felt that declining lately, and I have no hate to Straykids either( like them and saw them in concert) but I’m More invested in BTS and that’s what I was get for. And some of the time, the stuff that is on Patreon just ends up on YouTube anyway .

I enjoy Nigel’s reactions as he’s great company to watch this content with (I’ve no ARMYs around me)… BUT it’s always felt like he never reads the comments & it does get frustrating - I say this WITH LOVE but it legit makes me mad when he - even jokingly - says things like ‘Why didn’t you guys tell me?’ because I can SEE all the amazing suggestions and requests being made with NO response. Tbh this pattern is why I didn’t bother signing up for the recomm tier. Over the last couple of months I’ve questioned continuing to be a Patreon (at least on this tier) because of the wavering in BTS content (I’ve NOTHING against the Stray Kids - they’re on my playlists 😸- & I totally support Nigel’s choices, it’s just a personal preference on value for money spent because I’m here for the BTS content) but we’ll see :) Anyway PLS don’t take this as a malicious comment if you see this Nigel (not counting on it lol) Because I LOVE watching BTS content with you and will continue to support you for as long as I can! It was like he'd only react to my picks every other month or less, which sucks bc then I never knew if I should just request the same 3 videos again. So I didn't really get to request 3 a month like his tier says. (That plus he left American Hustle Life, In the Soop, Rise, etc hanging... and then he doesn't do Run BTS for like weeks at a time lol. Tbh I think I might just do what you did and take a break for a few months and let the content pile up!)

2023-08-02 03:07:29 +0000 UTClove nigel! but if i'm being real, i'm army, and had the requested tier for like a year. nigel rarely took my BTS suggestions lol, only a handful of times (linkin park, ddaeng, etc). it was really frustrating paying for something that says in the description 1-3 vids a month, but in reality, was 1 every ~2-3 months. most months I'd start with "hi nigel, sry but you forgot my requests last month again" lol that's the reason i dropped out of that tier last month, and it probably went to a stray kids fan (no hate) anyway, i'm *always supporting nigel* bc his love for bangtan/army is PASSIONATE/REAL! 💜 but i felt like i had to air my grievance bc nigel rarely (and still hasn't) responded to my request DMs, and i was upset with the false advertising. i had really good picks y'all lol. i wouldn't sign up for that again bc i don't trust him like that anymore
