I joined your Patreon a couple months ago because I saw your reactions on yt and wanted to watch your old ones and actively see your journey into stanning skz and other groups (if you choose to do more later). You are actually part of a handful of reactors that I can watch and not get annoyed with because you seem genuinely interested in the content, the meanings behind the songs/lyrics, the groups and individuals as a person and more. You make the content even more fun, so I thank you for that. For as long as I've subscribed to you, you have been great at communicating if something is wrong and you can't make a video. I mean, you have a whole life beyond reactions. So it's completely understandable if you don't share everything. I mean, if I did what you were doing, I wouldn't tell my whole business all the time. And about your schedule, tbh, I didn't really care for the schedule. All I know is that I'd get a notification that you posted and I'm like "yay, new reactions. I'll keep that in mind and watch whenever I have time". I mean, I'm just happy to have reactions. I feel like those people shouldn't demand for videos to be uploaded about specific things. Hey Nigel. I don’t think I’ve commented before but I found your youtube channel in 2021 when you first got into BTS and I’ve been subsribed to your Patreon for I think around 2 years since you first announced your Patreon. Tbh I subsriced mostly because of your personality. There are tons of reactors out there so the reason I subsrcibed was because watching content with you makes me feel happy. Whether or not people will be satisfied depends on what they subsribed for. I personally was just an army when I first subscribed. Now I am at a point where I have watched/rewatched a majority of their content and waiting for their reunion in 2025 so I also enjoy exploring new groups. Therefore it’s not really a problem to me what or who you choose to react to. And to be completely honest I would probably watch no matter what you upload (even non kpop related stuff) as I am mostly here to spend time with you. I never really pay attention to schedules anyways since I just watch whenever I feel like it. I live in a different time zone than you so it’s usually 1-6 am for me when you upload but that’s completely okay for me since I’ll watch it while getting ready for work or once I get home after a stressfull day. I am also lucky to be able to subscribe to multiple different patreons at once so if you don’t upload one day, I usually still have something to watch. However I understand that alot of people need to be more strict with only subscribing to one person who post the most of the content THEY PREFER for the amount of money they pay. I also understand that some people might have things they are dissatisfied with and that they should be able to share those things. But the key point is that it should always be done in a respectful manner. If they then realize they won’t get what they want on this patreon then they can always unsubscribe. After all, I get the impression that you made this patreon for people to enjoy content they like with you because you also enjoy it, not for you to watch whatever just to watch it because it’s a job. Watching someone watch something just for the sake of watching it is not enjoyable anyways. At least not for me because I genuinely like you and notice when you enjoy what you’re watching. Hey Emily, I totally understand your point, and I did see your comment earlier. However, I want to clarify that my perspective hasn't changed in light of your view. I believe that what I said isn't meant to contradict your point but rather to build upon it. As you said, we didn't "hire" Nigel and he didn't had this channel with the intention of getting content tailored exactly to our preferences. Nigel pitched this "oasis in the ocean" concept, where he offers the videos that his target audience on YouTube seems to love the most. While there are tons of album review videos for Stray Kids on YouTube, I decided to support Nigel on Patreon because of his awesome personality and the way he dives into Stray Kids' content. It was a trust thing for me. Now, I'm not knocking your viewpoint at all, we're all here and contributing by choice.. We can choose to stick around or not. That said, when there's an effort to build trust between content creators and supporters, sticking to promises becomes a big deal. While keeping a strict schedule might not matter to you, it's a bigger deal for some of us. Personally, I'm all about sticking to the schedule if there is one. Ngl, I am only here for Stray Kids' album content. The BTS stuff and special shows don't really matter for me, so I am essentially paying for half or even a third of the content here, which is fine for me. Nigel's initial idea of an "oasis in the ocean" was appealing because it seemed like a haven for those of us who weren't entirely sure about subscribing. But since I signed up, I've noticed some issues on Patreon and the expectation of the "oasis" is not really met. The schedule is hectic and changing, videos get canceled, and sometimes the content we were told to expect just isn't available. I get that not everyone's going to find these concerns as important, but I look at it this way: if I'm putting money into a service, I'm essentially supporting someone in their job. And in any job, consistency and quality matter. If I've got concerns, there's usually a customer service channel to voice them. I don't want to ditch Patreon because I genuinely enjoy what Nigel creates. Still, it's definitely frustrating when promised videos are nowhere to be found or they're canceled without a proper explanation on the platform. (Before coming for me, I get that Discord is a thing, but honestly, I'm not a fan of that strategy from Nigel. Communication should clearly happen where the people are paying, whether it's through emails or pre-announced posts. Also, if there's a video set for two consecutive weeks, there's a chance to give a heads-up in advance and maybe adjust the schedule to keep folks satisfied. If the change in plans was intentional (which is totally okay), it could've been communicated when the off-topic video was put in. Taking these steps could've easily avoided the drama. Nigel's schedule clearly stated every two weeks of album reviews and every two weeks of BTS content. With three weeks of waiting, it's understandable for people to think the delay would follow the schedule. Without clear communication, Nigel need to understand the frustration is valid.) Sure, Nigel can post whatever he wants since it's his channel, and we can't expect him to do exactly what we want when he's got a schedule and approach in mind. The schedule was meant to keep things in order and build excitement. When that order falls apart, I think it's fair for us to point it out. (And yes, the behavior of some Stays that think they are in their father's mansion is not normal, but what can we do with immature people beside ignoring them.) But all this aside, the fact is there are issues within this "oasis." Being upfront about these problems works better than brushing them off and trying to make things sound better. I'm just hoping this situation won't mess up the sense of community (Stay and Army, please love and support eachother), and instead leads to positive changes – for us and for Nigel.

Oh my gosh, I hope I'm not too late on this. Me personally, I paid to solely watch BTS as well, but as I started to watch more and more Stray Kids in my free time, I realized that they're very entertaining to watch, and I actually found myself relating to them more than BTS lol oop. I still love BTS though, don't get me wrong. Those guys singlehandedly got me into K-pop (besides my sister). But now that my boys are going off to the military and we gotta wait until 2025 for more group content, I'm just like 😐 well in the meantime I guess I'll watch me some Stray Kids. Honestly, can we pin this comment to the top? I feel like these guidelines needed to be pinned to the top of the feed so that we can all say "see number 3" when someone is being an absolute asshole. I'm an Army that's getting into Stray Kids because of Nigel! I'd been meaning to look into them a bit before, even before Nigel started to react to them, but the thoughts of getting into the content of another group was overwhelming. Especially when there was still so much BTS content I hadn't seen yet. This works perfectly for me because I can learn about them with Nigel and don't have to try to figure out what to watch next on my own LOL. I'm still not ready to do a deep dive and consume everything, but I try to keep up with SKZ Code and MV reactions.

I will never understand the toxicity and entitlement that exists in KPop. They provide content that is meant to entertain us and make us happy. How do people end up so angry? I swear they must get high off the spikes of anger and rage that they feel. It also must be an exhausting way to live. I've seen stuff on Instragram and Tumblr and always wonder "why do they want to always assume the worst? Their day-to-day life must suck." And then I try to scroll past it and not engage. He is 100% the best BTS reactor. I watched a lot of BTS reactor videos as I was getting into BTS because no one in my daily life was into BTS. I wanted to share the amazingness that is BTS with people so I watched different reactors. Nigel is the ONLY one that has stood the test of time. He is the only one that seems 100% genuine to me. And a lot of that has to do with the fact that he isn't pursuing a lot of different Kpop groups at once. I really like how he takes his time to learn about a group before beginning to learn about another. This is also why I am totally fine with whichever videos Nigel wants to upload at any day/time. I would much rather him be completely excited to watch videos and be genuine in his reactions then to have lots of videos but no emotion.

I got into BTS and shortly afterwards I came across Nigel. Learning about BTS with Nigel was THE BEST! No one else in my life is in to KPop so Nigel made me feel less alone as I consumed as much content as possible after work and on weekends. Sometimes I would watch something for the first time with Nigel and other times I would watch the content first and then rewatch it with Nigel so that I could enjoy sharing it with someone. I had a rough winter a couple years ago and Nigel and BTS were what brought me joy. Because of that, and all the laughs he still brings, I am here for the long haul! I'm an ARMY but am happy to learn a bit about Stray Kids with Nigel. I can't do the deep dive with another group, but I like watching SKZ Code and MV reactions with Nigel. Oh man, I really want to hear how your decent into BTS/ARMY goes!!

Set a weekly video quota and prep them in advance, instead of the daily scramble. Remember, making videos is your job, and people will have expectations. I'm a little late but i just wanted to say that i appreciate you Nigel and I'm proud of you for placing boundaries for yourself. Although i am a stay and am mostly here for the SKZ stuff i would never push or demand anyone to watch something just because i feel entitled to it just because i am paying for something. The whole reason i am paying for this platform is because i enjoy your reactions and you as a person. If you dont post something SKZ related for a day that it might or might not have been scheduled, I am not going to be angry about it or even demand an excuse. I'm just going to go on with my day and wait till the next upload. Hey Nigel, sorry you're dealing with this. I'm glad you've taken the schedule down and are taking some time away to reset. Personally, I kinda like surprise postings. You never know when a new video is going to show up and brighten your day. But, if you do decide to go back to a schedule, I've seen some other multi-stan reactors just dedicate one day a week to a particular fandom (so, say Mondays to BTS and Tuesdays to SKZ). Then, any other day of the week you can do whatever you want. Post if you feel like it. Don't post if you're not up to it. This way, you're not so restricted and held down. And, certain "people" can't say you are or aren't following a schedule. Anyways, hope you have a relaxing break! Much love!

tbh i used to really love when a post of u surprised me on my patreon tl (when there was no schedule), i was never expecting something specific so it was like "NO WAY HE CHECKED THIS" and it got me more excited than how it goes now with the schedule, ya'll really forget that content creators are ppl too and that not everyone has the same attention span, some ppl can binge watch like crazy and some don't, to have an organic journey with an artist or with any piece of media out there, everyone deserves to do it at their own pace!! thats why your fave artist drops music every 3-5 months, imagine having the pressure to listen to at least 7-8 new songs from anyone every two weeks? for me it would be very overwhelming

While I understand that they are looking for validation that you are "seeing" their comments by responding or liking their comments...I TOTALLY agree that you don't have to if you don't want to. Especially because you have soo many followers. Your reactions (anybody's) are only enjoyable to watch if you are actually enjoying it and not being forced. You are correct that you can't satisfy everyone. You have been concentrating on BTS for a long time and have consumed a lot of their content. It's understandable that you'd want to expand to other groups. There are those who think that you can only enjoy/like one group (I think about Backstreet/NSYNC wars) and just because they are like that...doesn't mean you can't enjoy more than one group. Honestly man, you do you. This might be the time where you just start to ignore those comments outright if they behave like that. If people don't like how you run your own channel, that's their problem, not yours, and they can choose to live with it or go elsewhere.
