All we saw was one fan provided video clip. Granted, it doesn't look good, bit that video was taken at a fm almost 2 MONTHS AGO. When that meeting happened, it was during the 5star promotions, and still fresh after the drama went down. 100% the company slammed down some immediate and intense forms if damage control inorder to save face. I'm not defending jype or div1, but this was never chans fault or decision. It was forced on him by A STAY on tiktok, and by the public. SK media and knetz went NUTS over those allegations. You think it looked bad from the international side? WAY WORSE in Korea, which is where he lives and works. He was forced into making an apology he never should have had to make, and stop chans room indefinitely, BECAUSE OF FANS. Although chan mentioned that to a stay in the fanmeeting, that was done a while ago. We have no idea what's going on behind the scenes, and what efforts he's been making to smooth things over, or maybe bring chans room back all while still practicing, producing, traveling, staying up all night, talking with us online, going to meetings, group activities, filming content, lessons, having a puny social life, remembering to eat, work out.... all of that takes time on top of schedules and tours. Etc. It sucks.... SO BAD... im not trying to yell at you or anything with what I'm saying here, I'm more expressing my thoughts into the void because you sound upset (like a lot of people) at the wrong issues. To top this all off, chan indirectly yet VERY DIRECTLY said on bubble today to stop. You can find what I mean by that all over Twitter if you haven't seen the msgs yet. We need to stop, wait, and TRUST CHAN. We need to stop making things worse or harder for him while excusing it away with trying to "protect" or help him.. I miss him too. So fucking much... but I trust him. ❤️🩹

Still Not ok, but just wanted to mention that. They were accusing chan of SA, being a predator, sending death threats and telling him to end himself, calling him ugly and talentless. All of it. They were even writing full articles and publishing them in SK demanding CHANS apology and leaving the group, etc. It was a goddamn mess and jype had every right to do damage control, but chan should have never had to apologize for something that didn’t even exist. He literally just mentioned how some people don’t bow anymore which confused him, and called himself a boomer. So many idols have brought this issue up before but chan got completely reemed for the same opinion. No names were given or even insinuated, but that one stay on TikTok who has a big acc ruined everything for everyone. I have faith Chan will come back some day, some how. I think fighting the company is the wrong move… it’ll backfire. But I don’t like what’s happened to him from all this… 😞❤️🩹 I’m devastated…

I think JYP will not allow him and he wants to. I don’t think Chan is a liar so why would tell the fan that knowing fan meets get recorded. 2023-08-29 22:59:15 +0000 UTCSo for those who don't know let me explain to you why he can't do Chan's room anymore so on mother's Day this year he did a room and I happened to catch it live and as I was watching a stay asked him how was music bank and he said it was good he had fun but he also said that he felt the younger generation don't greet people anymore now keep in mind that he has said this before on Chan's room and nothing negative happened but because he said it right after the music bank question toxic stays hunted down a video and on that video clip it looked like a girl group didn't greet them when they was walking by but they did, also keep in mind Chan said no names at all. So these toxic stays blame this girl group and started a mini fandom war. A few days later chan apologized on tweeter and then after that on bubble he stated that he won't be doing Chan's room for awhile because of the comeback and their schedule, but yesterday or the day before we found out that he is not allowed to do it anymore because of that incident. So yup that's why the good stays now have to suffer. Everyone stay safe if you are getting that storm.

2023-08-29 22:54:43 +0000 UTCMy personal belief is that chan (as well as the rest of skz) have a contract so they wouldn’t never speak bad about the company… but I do think back to stuff that happened when got7 left the company and how their fandom speaks about jype as a whole and how got7 was treated… so I do believe there’s a some “bad” things about being under jype but jumping to conclusions is EXACTLY what got us into this mess of not having channies room in the first place, my biggest worry is chan getting in trouble and having backlash at the company that we have NO knowledge of so while I do agree to some aspect that taking chan’s room or rather not letting chan go live is completely unfair (since the other members have been live) I also think that all of this could be affecting him in a negative way as well … and I also personally think him being on bubble and bubble community so much today especially w/ those certain “jokes” he made and him saying “read between the lines” (even tho it was probably about social path) it more than likely had a double meaning … but I’ll never put words in chan’s mouth

I don’t want to provoke any fight or sm but the truth is that controversies kept escalating and I think the company decided it was best to stop it because it was too much. Me, I think it started with episode 205 with the bed bug bitting incident Chan told Stay and a lot of Stay got mad and blamed JYPe for that, claiming they don’t take care of their artists. Then Chan even scolded us in the following episode for blaming the company. Then 2 weeks later, episode 208, another controversy occurs. Chan talks with Stay like it’s family, he’s comfortable with us. He told us how Musik Bank in Paris was and he gave his thoughts about how genrations changes and that some people in that new generation do not bow or show basic manners to show respect. And so a huge fanwar started between Stays and Dive (Ive’ s fandom) because of Dive feeling concerned by Chan’s confession and/or Stay attacking Dive because of « proof video » on which you can see Ive not responding at Chan’s bow. (I saw the videos but honestly you can’t be sure they saw him, and it was blurry but anyway- I’m not a Dive btw, I try to explain in neutral way). And that was the last episode of Chan’s room. So yes we are really really sad it’s over but it’s not like the company decided to stop it out of the blue. So seeing all that fire all over Twitter since we just learned it was over for good is understandable but also shows how Stays’ strong emotions/reactions have repercussions. I believe (bc they felt like the boys were being overworked) and someone asked him about channie’s room and you can hear him in the video say “I want too” the fan ask something else and me personally (along with A BUNCH of other stays) heard “company says no” but it’s not 100% clear in the audio so everyone has been upset bc they were forcing themselves to believe chan wasn’t going live anymore simply bc he didn’t want too not that the company wasn’t allowing him too… now as too why they not allowing him maybe 2-3 weeks before 5 -star album dropped he did the last chan’s room and mentioned how he felt younger idols weren’t being respectful… like wouldn’t bow back to him and the boys… yk korean culture things but some stay’s just wanted to know who he was talking about and there was a video of the girl group ive I believe and skz passing each other and some of them didn’t bow and the toxic fans went crazy and started fan wars… and from what I have seen a lot of non stays actually don’t like chan why no clue but they took it as a chance to dog pile him… there are articles about the situation and everything… so the day before the topline m/v teaser was released he posted a public apology on instagram about being careless or something (he shouldn’t have apologized imo) and he hasn’t done a live since then and after the fan meeting video came out stays started sending those trucks outside of jyp saying stuff like “jype protect your artist” “we want chan’s room back” and what not… but chan came on bubble either last night or this morning and although he did not address anything that was going on he very slyly said “everything is my decision, my rules — hahahahaaha” soooo now there’s inner fandom fighting on top of the Japanese comeback (that happened today btw) and vma voting 😭 it’s a shit show in stayville rn

At this point the company (either JYPE or Div1) isn’t letting him do it most likely for his own safety and considering what happened after his last live it’s safe to say it’ll be a while before they let him go live. I believe the main cause is because of one person on TikTok/ Twitter that posted a theory as to who Chan was talking about in his live. And because of that theory it started a fan war between Stays and Dives(fans of a group called IVE). And some stays sent a lot of hate towards IVE because they assumed that it was them that Chan was talking about. And because his words got taken out of context and people assumed things he had to make an apology about it on their instagram account. The entire situation is so messed up and it sucks that it happened this way because Chans room has been such a comfort for not only stays but for him as well. He lost one of his main sources of comfort for himself and it hurts to see that. I hope that eventually he’ll be able to go live again and start up Chans room in the future.

His such a comfort place for a lotta people and the company not allowing him to do that is really wild to me and if y'all haven't watched what he said on fansign event go watch it on twt but in the video he basically said that “I can't do channies room anymore, I want to but the company says no so..”. .he saved a lotta peoples life just by getting live every Sunday and they took that from him and from us. And a lotta stays became a stay because of changes room, And he him self said that that's his safe space but yeah bro I mean I don't wanna talk much about the company considering chan doesn't like when people talk bad about the campany 4 years 7 months 26 days, 208 episodes💙 giving us one of the most iconic and memorable time with channie but we have come to an end of an era and so No more waiting for Sunday No more hugs No more spoilers No more hearing about how the songs are made No more reaction videos No more feeling special on Sunday No more channie's room (oh ngl I didn't like how the cstays went far with the track thing and hopefully channies room will be back in the future )
