He also has a solo sing he wrote on the SKZ-REPLAY album which would be soft rock/emo imo lol, called “stars and raindrops”. He’s actually known for preferring this type of music on his own time ☺️

Kanzen kankaku was one of my favs back then too when I was in my teenager emo era lol now I'm more into soft/alt rock so I'm enjoying their newest releases so much! Honestly they're physically incapable of releasing misses all hits 😂

2023-09-13 04:38:31 +0000 UTCAlso this is such a specific moment to mention, but when it comes to rock music, you really have to find the flavor you like (the ones Nigel mentioned are ones I also like quite a bit). Because I love rock, but I don't like all rock, especially if it's a bit generic. I usually dig songs with amazing vocals or guitar or rad drums (since I played drums before and it usually catches my ear and blows my mind) or various instrumental changes throughout. Linkin Park is certainly rock, under nu-metal category But Paramore is always iconic, loved by many. Icon for Hire is a really good group - they include a lot more electronic and rap elements that I think are great. And Japanese rock is really good- like Kamisama I Have Noticed and of course One OK Rock. And prog-rock can be interesting -- a really REALLY good band is The Dear Hunter. But I think the energy and vocals is something I tend to really like, and even though Stray Kids are a lot more electronic and hip-hop-y, their energy and vocals really drew me in too (and how musically interesting the songs just ARE; it's crazy). I personally also really like rock because I love to sing along, and it's one of the best feeling genres to sing to in terms of cathartic release

Seungmin’s is breathtaking and solidified him as my bias when I saw it, but IN just about moved me to tears. He sings with so much emotion and it blew me away. To see him as he wants to be heard as an individual was so so precious because he gets overlooked a lot and he deserves so much love for his vocals.

I've been a fan of them for 10 years now and I recently saw them live for the first time, it was the BEST concert experience I've had in my life! Rather than punk rock they're more like alt-rock/pop kinda band. Solid instruments, beautiful well-written lyrics, insanely powerful vocals, they got it all!
