I'm so late because it takes so much energy to prepare myself for this time in their story again. Lol. It's strange that you spoke on how it would feel to overtake your role models...because there was a time that Hyunjin guest appeared on Weekly Idol while Got7 were there and the hosts asked Hyunjin where he saw Skz in the future and he said just as popular as Got7. Jackson from Got7 said no, they need to be even bigger and better. They were really great for them. Jackson was said to be their mom.

@leidybug Felix didn't get in through online audition though, he was scouted by a jype staff and then went through an offline one. JYP is not involved in the trainees audition and even if he was, he wasn't aware of the members chan picked for the team (among the tens of trainees the company had) and only got to know the members through the show

NIGEL, it is totally understandable to not want to wait to listen to everything in order. I started with S-Class and 5-Star so I by no means went in order, but I have since listened to the rest of their discography and fallen in love with their sound and creativity. They truly bring it in every release and make such unique and timeless songs. Listen at your pace and if that means you need to skip around a bit go ahead

About the album thing. You've almost heard all the songs from oddinary. There's like 3 new songs on the japanes ep Circus. Like 7 songs on maxident. Skz Replay is 15 songs, and the best thing in this universe ( amazing album, or whatever you wanna call it ). The Sound japanese album, 7 new songs to listen to, and only about 2 mvs. 5 star 12 new songs a heck lot of mvs and who knows what. 5/5 stars (; Anyways what i am trying to say is... your not toooo far behinddd. typing all this out and to think all of these albums, have been released since i became a stay is crazy. no but really if you dont think to much about the japenese albums your not that much behind. You maybe have the time to do 2 or 3 before Rockstar comes out. also for the shorter albums. Maybe there you could watch the mvs in the same video ( defo on the japanese ones ). Went on a little rant, anyways have a good day!

their schedules while filming this show were crazy i remember changbin saying he'd film the show and practice and produce all night, get on the bus and sleep on the ride to school, go home for like 30 minutes, go to the company, and do it all over again

GOT7 are amazing!! They're JYP's 3rd gen representative boygroup. GOT7 as a whole are actually really good friends with BTS. You might have recognized Bam Bam because he was a mystery listener for skz last episode along with Yugyeom but Bam Bam and Yugyeom, Yugyeom in particular, are really close friends with Jungkook. They're part of the 97 Liner squad. Yugyeom was actually Jungkook's first real idol friend and from there GOT7 grew closer to BTS and then they all became besties but especially Jungkook/Yugyeom, Jungkook/Bam Bam, and Namjoon/Jackson. GOT7 are no longer really in the kpop industry anymore though. They had a dispute with JYP cause they weren't being managed/treated well which is not a surprise, JYP is not known for treating their boygroups well. So GOT7 actually left JYP and they're now individually signed under different labels, but they're still a group. They dont really get invited to korean awards shows anymore but they're still doing well on their own solo projects and most importantly they have their freedom and creative control over their music. Still, that doesn't mean he remembers Felix. In the first episode, his staff had to keep telling him who was who. The only one JYP knows is Chan and maybe Han because they've been there the longest. Remember when he bumped into Changbin and Seungmin in a hallway and he didn't even recognize Seungmin and he was there before Felix. There's hundreds of trainees, theres no way he's gonna know every single one of them

He actually did. The way you get into JYP ENT is by an online audition where you tell him your ethnicity and follow up by questions . If you’re a foreigner, one of the questions is how good you are at Korean. I believe all candidates go through Jinyoung

When you said jyp knew felix's korean wasn't great when he was considered in the line-up, he probably didn't actually. Chan hand picked the members from within jype's trainees with no intervention from the company whatsoever, jyp probably didn't even know some of the newer trainees' names before the group was formed
