January 29th to February 11th
Added 2017-02-12 20:02:07 +0000 UTCHi folks! The past two weeks have been a lesson in self-care and goals. I had a lot to get done and I couldn't do it; I still have a lot of it on the drawing board. So I adjusted my deadlines and goals, and worked out a schedule that I could work with. While I'm still not in the best place right now, I'm healthy and able to work, and that's better than if I'd burned myself out scrambling to get everything done. So I'm taking solace in that.
I'm still speedrunning because I absolutely love it; I want to keep doing this on a semi-regular basis, in between design delve, let's play and art streams. And speaking of the latter, I want to get back to them soon; I need to figure out a better format.
I'm also planning a podcast, which has been reflected in my updated goals! It'll be a small affair where I invite a guest, we discuss something they're passionate about, and then we share life advice and answer listener questions. Folks at the Analyze! level and above, this means you get priority there, too! I plan to start this as an infrequent thing but if I reach my next goal, I'll make it happen weekly.
I'll soon be headed off on a massive trip to Chicago, Train Jam, GDC, Emerald City Comic Con and PAX East - if you're anywhere that's there, don't hesitate to say hi! As for right now, I'm back at work to finish the most demanding piece of art I've made yet. I can't wait to share it with you.
