Of Squid Maids and Light Novels

Hey hi folks! So I've been playing Splatoon 2 and it's a lot of fun - and it comes with a neat art post option that folks have been doing amazing things with. Considering what I'm up to these days, I figured I'd make a tongue-in-cheek light novel style pic about the hot topic of the moment: squid maids, and when we could finally have them in the game.

And folks liked my post! It's... maybe the most popular thing I've drawn?? Which is weird???

But then Nintendo took it down because they thought it was a promotional post. I wanted to explain that, no, this isn't an actual light novel, that's not-- but it was too late, my post was gone.

So I figured... well, at this point, why not prove them right and make it happen? So I guess I'm writing a Splatoon 2 fanfic now. That's a thing that's happening. And since I've been ramping up to write light novels, I suppose this'll be good practice.

So... stay tuned for more developments on this matter, I guess! ^^
