10 years
Added 2025-07-10 03:29:31 +0000 UTCI came out 10 years ago today.
Everything else was done; I was on hormones, my marriage was over, I had come out to my immediate family and friends... all that was left was the public part. I was so nervous, so excited, so scared. But I was in motion, so there was no stopping, no going back. And incredibly, impossibly, I kept going.
I'm really grateful I had help. <3
I still can't believe it's been ten years already. If you'd asked me back then, I would've had no idea where I'd end up ten years later; heck, I'd give you the same answer now. But no matter how much time passes, I'm really, really glad I get to finally experience it as myself.
(I'm also glad I kept that shirt ^^)
