Only that he didn’t know it was a ship; to him, it was just his house. It was only when he left to explore the world that he noticed that his house was different from all the normal houses. That’s how he came to suspect this house had been really a ship all along.

(Fun fact he used the Dragonballs to wish for immortality so they stuck with him) And Bulma got dolled up for who knows what reason, but eventually she’ll be throwin dat thang at anyone from aliens, to saiyans, even gave Roshi a peak back in the days.
