Goku is a good guy but he REALLY likes fighting strong opponents over many other things.

And even tho there's a lot of filler before seeing the main fights, this Namek saga has more interesting filler if that's a thing. Even the speeches, and boy there are some epic ass speeches in this saga. Even gonna tug your heart strings when you least expect it.

Like Frieza said, Vegeta has been on the Frontline all this time getting stronger. Goku is always fighting whatever evil comes, and getting stronger as well. As soon as he hears someone is stronger than his toughest opponent, he's locked in on wanting to fight em to see how he'll do. Vegeta knows more about their heritage and strength being a prince, so he's been doing this on purpose while Goku has been just following his urges not knowing why. No spoilers but eventually in the future they learn more and more about their Saiyan heritage and... well.. you'll see. Also got my vote for Bruce Faulconer version.

BTW, yes, Frieza’s voice sucks in this dub lol. This is my 1st time watching DBZ in English and I’m like WTF!!! Frieza’s voice is supposed the sound relaxed and slightly elegant, like some aristocrat.

Goku didn't know since he was dead at the time, so he thought he must've destroyed it himself as a baby after he found out it wasn't in one peace after all these years lol The title "Frezia strikes" was him sending those soldiers against Krillin, Gohan, and Vegeta. Not him actually doing anything. Mainly his forces lol. And don't worry too much about the music. You reacting to the correct version regardless. Anyways... Great upload 👌🏾✌🏾
