Getting stronger after battle is great but they always have 1 risk… DEATH. Vegeta is cocky & never loses his Saiyan pride bur as you saw, he gets too cocky assuming he’s already the strongest. Oh an Piccolo being so fast on Kai’s planet may have to do with him being Namekian where the gravity is stronger (even tho hes never been there)

You're quoting a joke as if it's serious. Vegeta has already said in the show that the scouter readings are unreliable because the number can fluctuate. That doesn't mean the idea of being stronger or less strong is bullshit. Goku lost to Vegeta (in Great Ape form.) Vegeta lost to Zarbon. Zarbon would lose to Frieza. Some people are stronger than others. There's nothing wrong with putting a number to their level of strength and fighting ability. It is silly to get too picky about the exact number. That's why I say "around this" and "about that." Using scouters is often unreliable, but putting a rough number to who is stronger than who is not bullshit.

Bulma gets a lot of crap, but she's the one who made the dragon radar, she's also responsible for a ton of other stuff. She's basically their pilot with the Namekian Ship. She's bit more annoying in this current iteration, but she's competent and capable.

One last note on power levels. Ordinary people from any planet tend to be less than 100. Which means even 1000 is very strong and impressive. Frieza recruits the strongest people in the galaxy, and most of his soldiers are around 2000. So, anyone at 20,000 or higher is one of the strongest people in the whole universe. That's why Vegeta was so cocky back on Earth and even more-so now. But he still lost to Zarbon.
