Steve Oedekerk shot some scenes and digitally added himself as a character, and re-dubbed the original. That's why so much of it looks like actual 70s movies. And it's spoofing the old Kung Fu movies of the 70s/80s. I love when you reach DEEEEP into the VHS vault for movies, Leo. You'd be a blast to watch old dubbed kung fu movies with. I kinda wanna binge on some! Sunday viewing, for sure

2025-03-05 06:32:36 +0000 UTC90's stephen chow comedies are also quite ridiculous. thats the guy from kung fu hustle. and they are quite under the radar. best known are probably the god of cookery and from beijing with love. this dude made like 10 movies a year in the nineties. god of gamblers 1-3, love on delivery, the magnificent scoundrels, forbidden city cop, king of comedy, when fortune smiles are others i found. greetings

But now since you in a kung fu mood again...I promise you will love Kung Fury! I recommended RRR, and Everything everywhere all at once and you really enjoyed them(i think you enjoyed EEAAO but you said the reaction got lost in a corrupt harddrive). RRR was handsdown the best reaction of yours, imo(Bad Grandpa might be a tie). It blew up on youtube like crazy but got pulled because some issues. Kung Fury matches the action/comedy in both of those movies but its only 23 minutes long, but it somehow feels like an adventure. I promise you will not regret reacting to it and i think it will do well on youtube! i like this movie too thank you! the humor/action on kungfury is on a different level.
