Dev Log #32 - Picking up from where I left off!
Added 2023-05-05 23:00:02 +0000 UTCHey all! It has been a dry spell for a week in terms of dev logs but now I'm back with more weekly update goodness. Ever since returning on 1st May, I've been back to work and picking up from where I left off. With that said, let's get into the weekly round of updates!
Story and game update
With regard to the story and how far it is coming along, I have now fully finalized the flow for each scene and will be looking to pose for and render a total of 10 planned H-scenes (half of them being vore-related) so I'm greatly looking forward to writing for and rendering these scenes.
Speaking of writing, the dialogue (and the game itself) is written up to the halfway point of Day 4. I have much to improve on here in terms of speed but also am somewhat struggling to balance that out with dialogue that does not sound forced/unnatural. All in all, I am still on track and will put in the extra effort to write believable and natural dialogue at a suitable pace.
Rendering
As mentioned above, I will be getting to work on 10 of the planned H-scenes (this is on top of the ones already in-game) and will be looking to get about 2-3 of them done every week alongside all on the in-between rendering. I'll admit, I have my work cut out for me, but I'm still keeping to the planned release window.
Currently, the render progress is now into Day 5, where I will be looking to pose and render for the planned scenes of that day.
Speaking of which...
To update on the planned release window, I'm moving the goalpost from "mid-May to end-June" to "early-June to late-June". While I understand this is disappointing, do know that this additional time is essential for me to get the game into a shape that I know everyone will enjoy playing and for me to make sure that I have sufficient time to polish up certain aspects of the game.

In summary, here's a quick breakdown of progress so far:
Story: 95% done. Days 6 and 7 are planned and the remaining 5% is for polishing or changing up the sequence of events. Up 10% from the last dev log.
Dialogue/Gameplay: 30% done. Day 4 is currently halfway written and I aim to finish this up by the weekend. Up 10% from the last dev log.
Rendering: 40% done. Day 4 is complete with in-betweens pending the dialogue above, however, the main focus will be the rendering for Day 5. Up 10% from the last dev log.
This week has been a strictly "back-to-business" mode for me and I aim to keep up this pace and momentum as the new month of May has just recently started. I know all of you are eagerly waiting for the release of E1P2 and I will continue to work hard on it as the release window is soon to be on the horizon!
