Unfortunately no reactor is going to store both the unedited and edited files once they are posted and it just makes sense to keep the smaller, edited file so, when the full reactions got deleted, they were likely lost forever😞

Except it’s supposed to be known that Jon is Rhegar and Lyanna’s bastard. The reveals to come are for sure spoilers, but by this point we know that Rhegar had kidnapped Lyanna before she was to be wed to Robert therefore they, Robert and Lyanna, could not have conceived a child since in GoT among highborn families the bedding ceremony is a thing therefore Lyanna is a maiden. We also know that Robert thinks Rhegar killed Lyanna, and Ned backs this claim up to protect Jon.

Leo this is the info you’re missing with the Lyanna Stark scene. NO SPOILERS. We already know or should already know by this point that Lyanna Stark was kidnapped and had been with Rhegar Targaryen for a long period of time, since pretty much the start of Robert’s Rebellion, and she never got to marry Robert, therefore she was a maiden. Jon could not possibly have been conceived by Robert because highborn women don’t have sex until they’re married off and she never got to marry Robert. Therefore Jon is the bastard son of Lyanna Stark and Rhegar Targaryen. This is why Robert HATED the Targaryens and wanted Daenerys killed. If you are a book reader or have already watched the show you can see what details I’ve left out to this point. Those details I left out are the real spoilers.

Jon's origin is tied to the complex lore / history that was revealed in the spoiler; his birth story, history, lineage, being a Snow, all the shit that was listed in the spoiler is not information that you know without finishing the series or having read some of the books. Leo hasn't read the books, he hasn't finished the series, and that reveal wasn't fully explained and fleshed out on screen until the close of season 7. Therefore, yes, it's a spoiler.

"it's not a spoiler" Except for the fact that Ned and Lyanna whispered so low you couldn't hear his full name. The only things said loud enough to be revealed were that Jon was her son and that Robert would kill him if he found out. You're all welcome to go back, put your headphones on and rewatch the previous episode where it's stated. Or you can go to YT and watch all the scenes with Bran as the three-eyed raven. The showrunners did this purposefully because in THIS season and the next, they come back to that moment and then it's all revealed at full volume with multiple conversations taking place about it afterwards between at least 4 different characters. It literally goes "his name is..." followed by silence and then "Robert would kill him if he found out" so Leo didn't miss anything. I just checked and I have great headphones. I suggest you do the same.

Her death was witnessed by Ned, two handmaidens and possibly Howland Reed. Before her death, Lyanna reveals her son's name is Aegon and begs Ned that he'll promise to keep her son safe from Robert, who would have had the child killed if he found out Rhaegar was his father. Remembering how the Lannisters had already brutally murdered Rhaegar's two children with Elia Martell, Ned protects his sister's son. He brings Lyanna's child with him to Winterfell and claims his nephew as his bastard son to keep him safe, renaming him Jon Snow. Ned raises Jon as his own alongside his trueborn children and Jon grows up with the maternal side of the family, unaware of his origins. Few knew the truth of Jon's parentage, with Ned, Howland, and the two handmaidens being the only individuals bearing the knowledge.

Robert would have killed him because Leana was taken by Ragar Targaryn. Leana was supposed to marry Robert Barathron. The whole reason Robert went to war wasn't to become King but to save Leana. At this point you can come to the conclusion that if Robert would kill the baby... well then it's not his baby. The main point of this is that Jon is the son of Leana not Ned... Ned was always faithful to Kat and didn't cheat on her during the war. So Jon is still a bastard but since he was born in the south and not the north he is Jon Sand... not Jon Snow

I love that you caught Ed Sheeran. When this episode came out he got a lot of crap about it. Maybe I’m just more easy going, but he did fine in his part so I don’t see what he big deal is. 🤷🏻‍♀️ It was neat to see you go back and rewatch that scene …it’s funny how much more you pick up on the rewatch. I remember when you first started you were like “how am I supposed to remember all these families and motto’s” and now you name them off like an old pro! Leo, GOT intentionally made that scene with Lyanna and young Ned vague. They intentionally turned the volume way down to not reveal Jon's true name (which would reveal his dad), but they will come back to that scene down the road so you can hear what she said. All the show has revealed so far is that: 1. Jon is Lyanna's son. 2. Lyanna was promised to Robert Baratheon, and it was thought that Rhaegar Targaryen (Dani's other brother who died before the show started) kidnapped Lyanna and r*ped her and she died. Nobody knew she gave birth (except Ned). Viserys was the dick brother you saw in the show, not Rhaegar. 3. Jon thinks he's Ned Stark's son and doesn't know squat about his mother because Ned never got a chance to tell him anything before he died. Ned told the lie to everyone that Jon was his as a result of an affair with the town ho. Hence why Katlyn Stark didn't like Jon and she was nasty to him. 4. There are more reveals to come about Jon's lineage. It's not that you missed anything; it's that the show hasn't revealed everything yet. Hope that helps. Don't want you stressing thinking you're not understanding something.
