So, you aren't alone, when you say you get emotionally invested in characters. Now, I'm going to smoke my Indica vape pen and watch this show. I grew up in Kentucky. Yeah, the writing gets very flat after season 5. Still pretty damn good because of the world built previously but definitely basic and without much craft in a lot of cases.

Damn.. So Varys was lying this entire episode if you think about it. And did everything he swore he wouldn't do. That's crazy.. In the books Varys is still alive after this and is definitely plotting something to bring the Blackfyre (Targaryen rebels) to power in Westoros... I'm actually pretty sure Varys himself is a Targaryen... or more appropriately, a Blackfyre.

not a fan of the sex scenes in these newer seasons. it seems a little gratuitous for me. in the earlier seasons i think showing scenes in brothels and other sex scenes helped us understand the world and character relationships. and now it just seems to be done for gratification. I think there's a minor excuse for Grey worm and Misande because it's like the climax of thier relationship, but that moment between Theon's sister and the Sandsnakes was just a little too weird for me. we already know both of those characters are bi/lesbian so it's not really showing us anything new about their characters, it just feels like the writers wanted to tease us.

Before the final season started the whole season's story was leaked online but we still watched and enjoyed/hated every minute. I really liked that you took the time to look up things, it does help with the understanding of the story overall, as well as keeping track of the character narratives back and forth! I totally do it while watching shows or movies, but idk what the best format would be for your channel... as a super selfish idea it would be dope for: film it once with your research breaks, and have two Patreon edits, one with the checks in-line and then one without the pauses (its a LOT easier to watch along with our own copies without pauses and I really love that for your normal vids)

Nymeria was the wolf pup given to Arya when all her brothers & sisters got one, but she sent it away when it was being hunted for 'attacking Joffrey' aka defending her from him. Ed Stark killed Sansa's cause they couldn't find Arya's wolf pup.

There are a few times the show tells you that Jorah is Jeor's son. Jeor tells Jon that his son was exiled for slaving and Jon's sword was meant for Jorah. When Tyrion and Jorah wash onshore after being attacked by the greyscale guys Tyrion tells him that Jeor died killed by his own men north of the wall and Jorah looks traumatized. I could've sworn you acknowledged it then.

I believe theon jumped becuz he was scared to become REAK again but this time under is uncle(maybe worst). Nymeria probably felt like Arya abandoned her when she bit Joffery. So when she ask her to comeback Nymeria was like" u left me why after all this time should I comeback with u." Even knowing Arya did it to save Nymaria

Arya asks Nymeria to come back with her to Winterfeld (and, leave her pack) in that reunion scene. Nymeria makes the decision to stay with her pack. Arya, then stares off and says: "that's not you." I believe this statement goes back to the conversation she has with her father early on when she wanted to be treated like her brothers. She wanted to learn to fight. Ned Stark say's something to the extent that that's not what women are expected to do, and one day she'll be the lady of a great house and have kids. Arya responds, "No, that's not me." Ned then get's her the "Dancing Instructor" sword trainer. I think that is what is being paralleled in this reunion scene with Nymeria. Going back with Arya would be against Nymeria's true, wild nature just as Arya doing what was expected of her would have gone against her nature.

All the Stark kids + Jon each got a Dire Wolf pup I believe it was S1E1, so it's easy to forget. Nymeria was released by Arya that or the next episode. She's lived practically her whole life in the wild. She was a pet for a minute. So yeah, it was sad she didn't go with Arya, but it makes sense. Thank god she remembered Arya and didn't gobble her and her horsey up! Also, I like that you're looking for clarification online for things. Most of us looked things up too when we were watching initially.

Yay! Great reaction. I think you did fine by checking on the things that you had questions on during the episode. Arya chased off Nymeria in season 1 to protect her after she bit Joffrey when he raised his hand to Arya during the butcher boy scene. Ned had to kill Sansa’s wolf instead since Nymeria wasn’t around. Arya’s comment, “that’s not you” was a call back also to season 1 when Ned told Arya that she would grow up and marry a lord someday and she said that wasn’t her. When she was asking Nymeria to come with her to Winterfell after being out in the wild and having a new pack, she was acknowledging that wasn’t who she was meant to be. ❤️
